Loadsa stuff
Pink will be working on a list of what's still available later today.
If you check the bottom end of the first post there's a mini hit list if you're interested in any of those, or you can see a long list of existing indexes in post #22 but you'd have to check back in the first post to see if it's been taken already and, of course, you're very welcome to pick a subject of your own that doesn't have an index at all.

Phew!
I've finally caught up with my PM inbox.
I think that I've got everyone up to date, but...
IF you have started your Collection Thread AND I haven't yet sent you a PM to say that I've copied threads into it for you to help you get started then please PM me and I'll bring you up to date.
Remember to put the name of your collection into the title and a link to your thread in the text please 'cos it helps me to keep track of where I am.
Take a look at the tutorial thread and the authors threads for now, and have a browse of your very own shiny new index
Hang on until I get the tutorial finished though because there will be some guidelines on how to write so that people with vision impairment and dyslexia will find them easier to read and use.Hi, I'm a Board Guide on the Old Style and the Consumer Rights boards which means I'm a volunteer to help the boards run smoothly and can move and merge posts there. Hi everyone,
Would those of you who have kindly volunteered to help but not yet confirmed please send me a pm to let me know that you are happy to be moved onto the confirmed list in post #1 of this thread.
Others have volunteered to help out but not expressed a preference on which collection they would like to cover. If that's you, please would you mind looking at the list in post #22 and the end of post #1 and send me a pm to let me know what collection you would like to do.
Thank you all again. :A

Hiya,
I know that some of you have made start already - but if you haven't there's enough of the tutorial written now to help you with most things and so if you haven't started already I'm very pleased to be able to say...Go for it!
Do please read the tutorial even if you've started already because there are a couple of guidelines that you may find useful and... mention of a couple of things that you really must not do.
I've got some things to add, and it needs a bit of polishing up and tidying here and there... so pop back in a couple of days to see the later additions.
I'm going to be away from the fifteenth to the seventeenth so if you get stuck just post into the Index authors discussion thread where I'm sure that somebody will be able to help you.
Good luck everyone, and thanks again for your helpHi, I'm a Board Guide on the Old Style and the Consumer Rights boards which means I'm a volunteer to help the boards run smoothly and can move and merge posts there. Hiya
Pink is managing the volunteers list and I'm sure she'll be along soon to pick up your offer - I don't want to muddle up her lists but I'm pretty sure that since you're the first person to post in the thread asking for books you're likely to get itHi, I'm a Board Guide on the Old Style and the Consumer Rights boards which means I'm a volunteer to help the boards run smoothly and can move and merge posts there. Hi,
I've added a bit about spacer posts into the bottom of the first post of the tutorial.
Those of you who have already got, or are planning to have, indexes with more than one post should take a look before getting too much done.
