Thanks
Racy just beat you to the breadmaking one (and it fits in well with the main thread collection she already does) so if you'd like to index the long "Slow cooker recipe collection" thread that is listed right at the top of The Complete Slow Cooker Collection (which kiwichick does for us) that would be terrific thanks
So you would be keeping up this index:-
The Slow Cooker Recipe Index
which is the index for this very long thread here:-
Slow Cooker Recipe Collection
If you'd like to start your index thread by doing items 1 to 4 in the tutorial thread linked from post #2 in this thread and then PM me I'll copy over the contents of the old index into it for you.Hi, I'm a Board Guide on the Old Style and the Consumer Rights boards which means I'm a volunteer to help the boards run smoothly and can move and merge posts there. I'm happy to volunteer too. I certainly spend enough time on here as i'm here daily.
I'd quite like to do something on the cleaning as i mainly get on the flylady stuff nowadays. I could also have a go at updating the daily thread archive.
It sounds fab to sort the indexes out so everyone can find things quickly.

Hi everyone,
To allow squeaky get on with the tutorials and help you to set up your indexes I'm going to take over managing the volunteer lists in this thread.
Please post in here as you have been doing when you have chosen your index topic and don't forget that you can choose your own brand new one if it's a subject you are interested in………. but PM *me* instead of squeaky to confirm that you will be doing the index you've chosen.
I'll then add your name and your collection to the lists in the first post here, and then advise you to follow items 1 to 4 in the tutorial thread (which is linked in post #2 in this thread) to start your post.
Once you've started your Collection Thread then PM squeaky (not me) and he will copy all the threads that he has into your post and help you to get started. When you pm squeaky please would you put 'started my whatever collection' in the title and include a link to your collection in the pm.
If you need help at any time, feel free to pm me or post into the Index authors discussion thread.
I'd like to add my personal thanks to everyone who has volunteered to help. It means a great deal to all three of us and will make a huge difference to the Old Style board. :T:T
Thank you all. :A

Hi Michelle,
If you would like to do a flylady index that would be great.
The daily archive threads need to be merged by a bg, but if you have the time to collect the links and send me a list of them every week or so, I can merge them for you. Let me know what you think.
Thank you,

I don't think I will have computer access straight away. ie: visiting libraries etc for a while to be able to *help* consistantly. I meant it that way. OMG - did you think I was leaving the site.
When we get back here (Oz) I will pm Squeaky to see if he still needs a helping hand with anything.yes - worried there for a moment.....thanks for easing our concerns, we'd have all thought you'd left for good if you'd been out of action for 2 weeks after that message
