When you're ready just PM me and then we'll get you started. It would be the same start as I've just posted for AT and as soon as you've done it I'll copy and paste the contents of the original index into your post so that you have a good start.

Like Alison I don't post much but I love old-style. I'm not so hot on cleaning but anything to do with baking (cakes, biscuits, etc), vegetarian dishes, or other foody-type things would be great. I also sew quite a bit which might be good for arts/crafts indices.
I'm also terribly techy.Old-styler, crafter and freebie junkie!Frogga's Amazing Weight Loss Campaign: Member no.20 since 2/9/07 -- lost 10lbWedding bells 04/10/08

Would it be a good idea to split OS into cooking, cleaning and everything else subforums? It might make it easier to manage and easier to find the things we're after.0

Count me in - arts and crafts are my thing too, HM gifts index going begging?0

Can we have a list of existing ones? Then we can add names as volunteers appear and new ones as the eagle eyed amongst us spot the gaps.0

Thanks everyone
Yes, I'm still trying to catch up with my other boards - and I need to take a break from my squeaky chair real soon, but yes, I'll update the first post with a list of "New Indexes" and their authors as we get each one started. And then add them to the MEGA and the main Indexed Collections list to help people find them.
Plus the tutorial, of course.
Right now I'm shattered - I've been going like stink since seven this morning and really need a break. I'll try and get things moving this evening, otherwise it's on my "tuit" list for tomorrow.Hi, I'm a Board Guide on the Old Style and the Consumer Rights boards which means I'm a volunteer to help the boards run smoothly and can move and merge posts there. It's a possibilty, sure.Especially since the board is so big and busy now.
The question really needs to be asked here:-
Site Feedback: Questions & suggestions
The only question on that would be - "how many posts are we going to have to move into the right section".
And I don't just mean working through the five hundred plus pages worth of threads that we currently have - I'm thinking of the posts that will inevitably turn up on the "general" board that will need moving to the relevant sub board.
In the meantime - the MEGA Index is already split into these categories (and more) so it really is a useful starting point.
(I really WISH we could give stickies a big bright red flashing title)
