Electric Comperella - Thanks for the Amazon trade in link, I'm going to have a good look on there - the free postage to send them in sounds great, and it may be a better way to get rid of some books as a lot of older ones aren't worth selling after postage costs have been factored in.
Music Magpie are quite good. The prices aren't competitive, but it's a quick and easy way to get rid of things that aren't worth putting on eBay/Amazon.

For anyone wanting to trade games in - Tesco are pretty good. I asked someone about it instore and they said that they generally buy them for around £4 less than they sell them for. They would have given me around £12 for Just Dance 2... even though they only charged me £15 for it brand new! :D I took a DS game in to be priced, they offered £8, I tried my luck on Amazon and sold it for 88p more (after fees) so there's not much in it - which is great if you want cash there and then, or can't be bothered with listing and posting (a bit like me :o).

Mollusk - Definitely give it a go, I would say to list it for as long as you can - 10 days, or even up to 30 on a BIN, as you may get someone who's box has just broken who wants to replace it ASAP.

  • my earnings have ground to a halt as i feared! nothing to sell on ebay over here cos all my junk is at my mum's and no more extra work coming in... ooh, although i am waiting for a payment from some work i did a while ago! right, off to chase that up!

    keep going everyone! <waves pompoms>

There are so many ways of earning online that you will be able to keep earning even though you have nothing left to sell! It does take a little time to get to cashout on some of them but its all money in the end :)

just waiting for topcashback to pay out.

Well done to everyone that has hit their targets, and well done to everyone who is making extra money this month. I know some of you feel like you are not making anything and I know the challenge is to make something but I would like to say having the willpower and motivation to keep trying to make money to pay debts/save for a deposit/savings/xmas etc is soooooooooooooooo good.
  • Woohoo! I managed to reach my payout level on mysurveythingy, so I've got £10 winging it's way to paypal. I had another load of paypal/ebay money hit my account this morning, so that's another £153.80 to add to my total. I've got nothing listed on ebay at the moment, so I must engage my butt and get some on there.

Well done to everyone hitting their targets so far this month, keep it up!
    October make £10/day currently £11.02
  • Nothing to add yet today but I've found some more things to list on ebay, including a couple of pairs of eye wateringly expensive shoes so hopefully I'll get a decent amount. It was quite traumatic but I've decided that shoes aren't ornaments, and in future I will only buy ones that I can a)afford and b)walk in.

  • Hi all

55p from an eb*y sale - should have been more but due to a packaging error I managed to turn a small item into a large packet - doh! Chalk that one up to experience!
Also £1.80 from t*pcashback so new total is £27.43.

And Sainsb*ry's have sent me another 4x £12 off £60 shops evouchers - I think they're trying to poach me. And for that I will be poached (Unless T*sco come up with anything better)! Just need to make sure I don't buy anything I don't need.
August Shopping Challenge. 26/8. Budget £250 Spent £256.81.. £6.81 over. So £0.00 a day left.
