  • A very respectable £13.55 today. Worked out the eBay sales & there was a profit of £12.56, I potted 40p worth of change, and I also accrued 59p from surveys. This takes me to £111.26/£150 :)

Thanks to you all for giving me lots of ideas & keeping me motivated

Just noticed that S&S have given me my fuel entry points so have just 'banked' another £10 voucher in my Amazon account. That will go straight towards one of DS2's Bday presents.
This is the first year in a long time that I'm able to buy my kids' Birthday presents outright without resorting to credit cards or overpriced catalogues. :D Not sure how I'll get on at Xmas, I have around £200 of Love2Shop vouchers so far, but think I'll need a LOT more than that.... better get my bum in gear and start making some more money! :)
  • Realised I forgot to put the lottery on yesterday

Held my breath as I checked the numbers, and was relieved to find we wouldn't have won anything anyway :rotfl:

So I'm banking the £2 I saved by forgetting!! Now at £408.20/£450:D

:rotfl: today I looked at his pic at the top and thought, he is still a good looking fella, even though I am not too keen on some of his ethics.

    well done!

keep an eye on the quick grabbit board if you can, there are glitches before xmas, and sales of items, so worth keeping an eye if you can during the day
  • Well done lolly :) its things like that happening that make all the hassle seem worth while isn't it :)

I'm p'd off completely cos I've just sat and worked out our 'finance' for the next mth (we get paid tomo) and after everything we need to pay out we have about £100 left to live for the whole month.
I don't really know what to do with myself at the minute cos I've been sat with my book on my knee trying to add and add again hoping maybe it will change but of course it hasn't. So I have put comedy on in hope I might crack a smile :o

actually going to give you the dodgy hug

    :grouphug:

it has been the same for us the last 2 months. once I have paid most bills, have £100 for food for month and have ended up using DS's child benefit to get us through. I hate doing that as like to use it for him for treats.

can you have a look at fairyclicks page to see if there is anything you don't do that you might have time for?

have you tried oldstyle thread? to see how you can make store cupboard food last a month?
