  • Hi
I know it is 9th today but can I join for remainder of Sept?
As a "Newie" I'd like to aim for £5 per day - does every saving count? for eg today I had to order some necessary stuff from Millets, used a 15% voucher so saved £9 and purchased through Topcash so will get some cash back.

everybody is welcome to join at any time :)

you can definitely include the cashback. I tend to wait until it is actually paid out in case it is rejected for any reason.

The £9 you save, I would say if you can actually use the £9 to pay off debts/bills/save then yes include it.

£20 amazon voucher from the lovely mccain just came through :D gotta love that site!
  • Thank you Aesop

Ok have decided to count the saving from Millets as any spare cash at the end of the month I will pay to my CCs.
So I have now emptied the piggy bank where I have been saving odd change - this is obvioulsy a one off ! I have £9.02 to bank and I will put that aside for the C word. Am only going to spend cash on C so will not increase my CC debts.
I am now becoming obsessed with this site, is that normal?

Hey all, had a really bad day on the way to work and some idiot drove into my drivers door on a roundabout at 20-30mph.

That's something you could have been doing without hopless I'm guessing :( ~ pleased that you and your 'extra passenger' are ok :T

Used a B**ts N* 7 freebie voucher today to purchase some eye make up remover. Clearly I would never pay £7.75 for it { } however at £2.75 after voucher that's a different matter. Now what to claim ? I think I'm going to add £2.25 to my total as would probably have paid £5 for it (it is quite a big bottle :o)

99p from ebay from me. Must try harder!!
  • £10 Waitrose voucher arrived today courtesy of Valued Opinions :j

Just checked my account and am over £10 again, so have ordered another one.

The other day I reached 1000 points at Global Test Market, and have redeemed for a $50 check (they send the equivalent in £). It's meant to be 6 to 8 weeks to receive it, though, so maybe I will get to add it to October's challenge... defo not for this month, though!

Haha! Unfortunately it is perfectly normal for most of us these days!! :rotfl:

I'm having to worst start to the month for a while now. I do tend to start off fairly slow though and it almost always picks up so I shouldn't be too downhearted about it. Got another £10 Argos voucher from Consumer Pulse. But that's about it. :(

Have a few bits finishing over the next couple of days on Ebay, but at the moment only 4 are selling for the grand total of £7!!
Hopefully some more will get bids on as they are finishing.

Had been getting ready to do a Bootfair on Sunday, but the weather for tomorrow is looking to be pretty bad so the ground will be very wet, and I've also now just seen that the forecast for Sunday has changed to thunder storms!! So may have to give that one a miss after all!! Hopefully there will be one the following week, but they usually stop around the end of September so we're running out of chances! I know there's always Ebay but we really want the space at the moment so i wanted to get rid of lots quicker, and there are lots of clothes left to sell that aren't really worth selling on Ebay as once postage has been paid it's not worth someone paying much more for them. May try a few small bundles of the same size in the Friday Ad instead!
