  • Didn't have time to update yesterday sorry. But yesterday when going out to buy some potatoes for tea my sister told me she had loads left from a market research she had done and kindly gave me 2 bags which would have cost me £2.70 , I then searched my coat pockets and found another 70p lol not much but it all helps. Today I sold one of my handmade rings allthough to a friend so only charged just over cost £3 and then I sold a bracelet for £6. I'm getting there slowly. I will list some items on ebay as soon as I have the time and have a couple of old phones to sell. I WILL reach my target !!
    £5 a day = £155/£150 for Sept challenge :j
    £5 a day Oct challenge = £19.12 / £155

It's like a British version of Etsy (where you sell any kind of handmade goodies), except it's smaller so there's a lot less competition & I find sales seem to come a little more regularly. Whip out your knitting needles/pliers/blow torch and you're good to go :D

I have another £6.66 to add from folksy, spooky :)

Thanks very much, I did google it (although other search engines are available :rotfl:). I am a bit of a knitaholic, so sounds good to me, am always knitting toys and bits and bobs, so may be a way of boosting my £5 a day :j

  • Hope its not too late to join??

Decided last night to accept the £10 per day challenge and cleared out my jewellery box this morning to sell. Took 3 necklaces, 1 bracelet & 2 unmatched earrings (lost the other ones to each pair) and really hoped to get £50 or so. Took them in today and nearly passed out - £290:eek::eek::eek:

Also weighed some clothes in @ £1.20

So unbelieveably Im at £291.20/£300 already:j:j:j

Thank you so much to everyone who posts, you are all stars

Nat - hope you are ok Xx

It's never too late for anyone to join.

:hello: and welcome to all new challengers.
  • Another £9.03 to add from Folksy :)

Jesus christ I'm nearly at 100, why did I never do this before??

At this rate I should be able to get my debt under £2000 mark soon, it probably sounds like a piddly target compared to some but on my new income of £160 a month and my 49% interest (what an idiot!!) it's been something I've been clawing at for ages.
    Oct £10 a day challenge £225.19/£310
    Sept £10 a day challenge: £272.13/£300
    Debt £1951.97/£2154
