Another £5.53 to add from Folksy
I feel I need to say Thank you to the creator of this challenge! It's a lot easier than I thought it would be and I wish I'd found this earlier. I am actually getting a buzz out of making a few quid here and there rather than spending a few quid here and there.Oct £10 a day challenge £225.19/£310Sept £10 a day challenge: £272.13/£300Debt £1951.97/£21540 -
Well done everyone on all the different ways of money making. I think i need to spend time this weekend making sure I am signed up to everything possible!
I have made another £5.15 from ebay after fees etc. That was for 9 items, hardly seems worth all that effort! But i suppose every little bit helps!!Make £5 a day in May £51.05/£1550 -

I sent a mobile phone by recorded delivery 3 weeks ago and it still hasn't arrived. Can I get the money back through Ebay then? Was just about to start faffing with the post office forms. Thanks......
I am joining the challenge this month again after a hefty total last month but need to do some final adding up.:j
Ok let me see if i can explain this clearly enough - i'm sure others can help me if i miss anything out
you should check the parcel tracking via royalmail on this page first of all to see if the item is sitting in the post office etc http://track.royalmail.com/portal/rm/track?catId=22700601&gear=authentication&forcesegment=SG-Personal
If it is not trackable then basically you should be covered by the paypal seller protection if you have sent something recorded delivery but you will need to check the requirements on this page: https://www.paypal-marketing.co.uk/safetyadvice/SellerProtectionOffEbay.htm
If you are covered ok then you just need to ask your customer to raise a case in the resolution centre by following the directions in the paypal resolution centre here: https://www.paypal.com/uk/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_complaint-view&nav=0.4
Once they do that you will get an email through from paypal for you to respond to the case and provide the tracking number and post date info etc. Paypal will then investigate the case on your behalf.
If you have followed all the requirements of seller protection paypal will issue the customer with a refund but it will not be taken out of your account - while they investigate the funds will be placed on hold though.
I hope all that makes sense ok??? its a bit complicated to explain LOL!Debt at Aug 2010 (LBM) £21,908.86, Debt Freeeeee Date 4th Nov 2013 :j:j:j Massive Thanks to the £10 per day thread :A Next goals:Savings £1203.16/£10,000******Mortgage to Zero: £52,579.46 to go

Thanks Fairyclicks, that was really helpful. I will follow your advice tomorrow and see if I can get the buyer to do what he needs to do. I had no idea that I could make a claim this way but this is my first sale that has gone astray in the post.Mortgage (interest only) 244,000; Credit card 12,500; Overdraft 2,100; Student loan 5,000; Overpaid tax credits:mad: 2,500 Total debts...much too much! 266,220 :embarasse

Wow this thread is moving soooo fast, just caught up again from yesterday!
have £4 in netmums sales to add, £37 from ebay & £3.70 in coupons to add, so hopefully thats keeping me on track- i love the challenge of knowing i have to update my log each day, it keeps me movitated so thank you to you all! :T0 -
I've just worked out that between now and Christmas I will have roughly 400 free listings on ebay (that's if the rumours aren't true about the free listings ending
) So my aim is to try and list half of this amount between now and Christmas
Might not sound alot for some people but I"m not a huge ebayer so averaging 50 listings a month for the next 4 months is alot for me
xx0 -
50 listings a month is huge! good on you if you even keep it up for one month!
Keep it going guys! nothing to add from me todayhave watchers on items but no bids (yet) listings not finishing until the weekend though.

Good luck to everyone else.0 -
£50 from going on a training course today on my day off ooooh and 20p 'trainkill' ~ fortunately it was on the floor of the carriage, I didn't hop down onto the tracks!
Will also add £1.65 from using my C*sta points to buy an almond croissant, have moved the cold hard cash into my savings account obviously
