after putting codes in how long do you have to wait to see if you have won? i put mine in weds night and still not heard

You only get an email if you win - no email means you didn't win. My two wins have been notified around 3am. Don't know how long it takes for the cheques to arrive, but until they are in my hand I don't consider I've won anything

I wouldn't advise entering more than once a day, even if you can use other email addresses. The competition on the Velvet Toilet Roll proved that they won't necessarily send your cheque if they see rules have been broken. If they are sending cheques to the same address - won on the same day, it might prompt them to investigate

  • Aww no win on my first go, another 14 packs to go though.

If you sign up with multiple email addresses you won't get your prize, promotion companies have simple checks in place to make sure rules haven't been broken and you will be caught, so don't expect your wins to turn up.

We tried three of Dad's codes on Mum's, hubby's & my email addresses and hubby was the only one who won. Must get another 3 submitted today!

Won on my first attempt at this, but nothing since. Lots of us winning on our first attempts.. ;)
  • Another lurker here to chip in with my interesting news - no win on my 1st go! Will keep going though but agree about 1 entry per day, even if you have diff email accounts. Velvet comp figured out what was happening & refused to pay out :(

How about a poll on the first post? "Did you win on the first time?" Would the OP have to put the poll on? Just an idea so don't shoot me down in flames! :)
