I think it would be good if we could all post our winnings and see how much we have made from this. It won't be a true reflection of all MSEer wins I'm sure but good nonetheless.

I was beginning to think it was a scam - they give you an early win to get you hooked and then you never win anything again! But thanks to this thread I'll keep persevering

I have entered 80 codes so far and won 9 times (awaiting cheques for 3). I've used four different addresses and 4 different emails. I find myself waking up at 3am to check phone! not bad considering I only spent £23 and have another 6 x 5 packs left.

didnt read the thread, but im sure someone pointed it out already, 1in10 doesnt mean your guaranteed at all, you could buy 100 and not win a bean, its 1in10 CHANCE, which, funnily enough is random

Well yeah, the title of the thread even says it... should win you a profit, "should" in this case meaning "more likely than not" which mathematically is true based on the average price of a pack of gum.

Of course it also relies on Extra's winner selection process being mathematically fair, which nobody can prove it is, i.e. it doesn't give more chance to people who haven't won before. The promotion states that it is based strictly on the codes, but who would know?

Got 1 code left to enter from my first 25 packs. Won twice, so a fiver in profit so far
Got another 25 packs to open, will be happy with my money back as I chew a lot of gum anyway.

I'd do that too - buy in bulk and enter using various emails and addresses, but all the Tescos around have simply sold out. It's getting hard around East London to find any Extra anywhere!
