    Morning All,
Having a very quiet morning in front of the t.v so far after a stressful evening. DD was stranded in town after all the shops, trains & buses were evacuated due to a fire in M&S & a bomb scare on the railway  she did finally get home but her friend who is a keyholder was still there at midnight. DS was meant to be going into town for exam celebrations but was forced to stay in the village so he wasn't happy either & then DD2 & her oh have had a massive bust up & she wants to come home. DP only took her & the DGK's home on Sunday , she's not answering her phone yet this morning so I'm trying not to worry & hope that she's just having a lie in.

HH I have cts so I know what you mean about your hands & hope you get some relief soon x
Can't remember any more of the thread :o so I shall wish you all a good weekend
    Hugs, spoons & hi5's all round x

    Good morning all

Busy morning so far - bread proving (made the old fashioned way today - I mainly use the BM but sometimes it's nice to do the kneading myself!) and cakes waiting to go in the oven. Soon the house will smell delicious even if it looks a tip!

There seems to be a break in the clouds so I am hoping to get out in the garden and plant the remaining bulbs. Famous last words - no doubt the heavens will open as soon as I set foot out the back door.

DH has gone into town to trawl the charity shops (he loves a bargain!) and the DDs are supposed to be tidying their toys. So far there is not much evidence of tidying going on (why am I surprised??)

BIL coming over for dinner this evening so easy meal of HM pizza, potato wedges and salad is on the cards.

    Have good days all

    Evie

PS Thank you Hester for the tip about the rotary dryer covers - that may very well be the answer to my prayers as we have no tumbler and I struggle with drying bedding/towels etc in the winter.

Happy Birthday Rosy smiley-greet027.gif hope you have a lovely day x
I have been busy all morning cleaning and have done some washing, but I think I will have to go and get it in shortly because the sky is going very grey:(
DH is fitting a light and a couple of sockets for a friend so I have managed to get loads done without being told "you shouldn't do this or you shouldn't do that" :p
My hairy four legged friend goes home today :( he has been a joy to have and I will miss him.
Made 2 swiss rolls yesterday, a batch of twinks (which are nearly all gone) some cheese straws for lunch boxes and 48 fairy cakes - that should keep them going all week and if it doesn't ....tough.

Fuming that BT have just put their prices up for the second time this year so I am off to find another provider.

Still the good news is Dr Who is back tonight sistercass x:j
Well I am off to do a hunt on phone prices

Be back later if I get time to read, now just got connected via mobile dongle. DS & GF half moved in - finishing today and they are going to sleep in the new place tonight. Feeling slightly ktired, but I have not been doing much - just a 2nd floor flat!!

DH's birthday today, so will try to go out, though honestly curling up sounds good to me.

(((hugs))) congrats etc., to anything anyone missed, will try to be on later.

Afternoon all, Lie in for me today! OH has gone to work, so just me and pup. I still feel a tad rough, so going to take it easy today, got loads and loads of washing that needs done. My landlady has emailed me, got a few bits to sort for her, still haven't done a food shop, but we've got enough to last until my payday so think i will just get some milk and bread and we'll be fine.

Want to bake my co worker a thank you gift for coming to my rescue yesterday, she's on slimming world, so going to see if i can find one of their recipes.

    have a lovely day all

    afternoon :)

Ah what a day but its finally stopped peeing it down!!

Been rushing round like a nutter sorting everything out, but i think i've done it, all the clothes are by the washer waiting to be bunged in. Two loads of washing straight out. In the vain hope they dry, if not at the least the house won't stink to high heaven.

Got the dough on, then will be putting it in the oven ready for today and tomorrow. In a but going to drag the kids into the kitchen to do some baking.

Came back to a lovely letter saying from DS1's new school saying they want £80 deposit for school trip by 10 september, then another £100 to be paid by October:eek: and a photo for his bus pass by next week . No idea where the money coming from and were officially scraping the barrel. The kids have been spoilt and now they's nothing else left. So will be taking a picnic tomorrow with us for the whole day at the race.

finally hvaing five mins to myself by the boys and OH play on the wii.

sorry to hear about your friends mum dreamy
    rosy - happy birthday!

Puppy is obsessed with Twinks hobnobs. He won't let anyone else eat them and has spent the last 30 mins in the kitchen staring at the cookie jar!

I need to do an online shop for delivery on weds, but i have noooo idea what to buy and am struggling to meal plan. Plus i can't decide if i should use Asda or Sainsburys! food seems so expensive at the moment!

    Happy Birthday RosyRed xx

A very sleepy day today and i am just waking up again. It has just hailed and rained heavily again so really hope it clears up for the doggies walk as Molly detests the rain.

I have organised some washing and plan to do some baking tomorrow. Hugs x
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.
