You are better off out of it - trust me.

TBH if I had an interviewee turn up before I was ready i would take it as an opportunity to suggest they might like to look around the shop to see what types of products we sell and how they are presented etc this would then be a talking point at the interview to see how much they had taken in

Thanks I'm really looking forward to the Asda Magic Assessment. It's a brand new store and I'm pretty sure they'd be a better company to work for - and that I won't get told off for being early haha

OP the farmfoods interviews sounds a bit suss or not very organised but good luck anyway. Telling you off for being early is just completely daft.

Basically I passed the first stage of the application (some multiple choice questions) and the next stage is an Asda Magic Assessment, mainly I think to determine how well you can interact and work with others.
If I'm successful at the assessment it will be a one to one interview, then a job offer hopefully!

Can't believe the 'interview' if you can call it that. If you'd turn up too early they could either have put you with someone to wait or told you to come back at X time, there's no rule to say there can't be a delay if she had to get all of her interview notes printed, or find out a bit more.

Sounds like she either was put into it last minute, didn't know what she was doing or didn't give a rodent's bottom. Either way, I doubt I'd want to work there even if they offered it, lol! If they can't get a simple interview right, then you can imagine what they'd do with your hours/pay!!!!

It's not like I was mega early - 5 minutes if that! I can only imagine what would have happened if I was 5 minutes late instead!
Stuff them - the shop is rubbish anyway lol!

sounds to me like they already had someone lined up for the job but had to conduct interviews to make it look like the person was the best applicant.

so annoying.
