Mrs B: Get yourself a bottle of wine - you deserve it.
Mr B: I deserve to be fat and poor?Do you not know that a man is not dead while his name is still spoken?

MrB. keep going man. You simply cannot give in now.
As you are some form of educator (not sure which discipline you teach), would it be worthwhile registering an account on 'HubPages' and creating a few hubs giving teaching advice on subjects you are familiar with (you know, things like how to make complex maths much easier).
I first started on Hub pages 5 years back but didn't really post anything of note (I actually forgot about hubpages for 2 years). I then posted about Private Parking Companies & now make £5 a month.
When I feel the urge, I will update or create a new hub (doesn't happen often though).Never Knowingly Understood.

Sunday was lovely without the looming menace of Monday that usually creeps in sometime during the afternoon. Celebrated with an early night and was up well before the lark and clocked up another 8km. Have spent the last hour working on this month's spreadsheet - for this first month of paying more than the minimum I'm just going to round up everything to the nearest fiver. Will be investigating the snowball concept for next month.
Have a toilet handle and a fence to fix today when the daylight appears - it's all glamour here at the moment in Disco Ball land. Hope to have the updated sig up and running soon which will hopefully add to the motivation or at the very least will satisfy some curiousity out there...2011: 301k in debt and morbidly obese (DFW)

Good luck with the toilet handle. I had to replace my toilet seat the other day, so know what a pain DIY can be.Never Knowingly Understood.

Toilet handle was fixed with a couple of cable ties on the inside to stop the split plastic nut from spinning around, and using a hacksaw and a piece of plastic I managed to fashion a replacement part for our ultra trendy kitchen bin which had become lidless. It is well lidded again now and just in time for Christmas. My next door neighbour suggested leaving the fence in his garden for the time being as we don't know how much wind is due to come, so it'll be a Boxing Day treat for me. It'll be a bit of an engineering project but I reckon I have come up with a plan to make it bombproof. Can't wait to get my saw, hammers and useful bits of wood out of the shed.
Partied hard last night with friends and paid for it this morning but overall had a perfect Christmas Eve (aside from an intermittent back pain which paralyses and then disappears in waves) and managed to sneak in a 6.3km run earlier.
Hope everyone has a cool Yule.2011: 301k in debt and morbidly obese (DFW)

Only Mr Bloater knows?
Only Mr Bloater knows his incomings and outgoings. There are only so many of your possessions you can sell, and hours you can work.
I just wanted to wish all the Bloaters' well. :xmastree:
I know you probably think i'm critical / negative, but in truth, twas intended as more of a kick up the proverbial
We live in consumer driven soceity, nowadays, but ultimately the things which are most important are your health, your family and happiness. Your family may have high expectations of you, and maybe you are trying to be all things to all people? but be true to yourself. You can have dreams but only if they are realistically within your reach. You can only have what you can afford. Life isn't just a game of wealth. Too many people focus on the creation of wealth, (in whatever format.) Maybe you could make a new years resolution to cut up your credit cards? Didn't you procure a credit card last year for smile money, a holiday? You're probably in the financial situation where you can't transfer card balances to obtain 0% interest? I'd best not lecture anymore...................
I do hope you find peace and happiness
