Dear Mr XXXXX,
We wanted to let you know that we have now processed a refund for your order as detailed below:
Your order number XXXXXXXXX
Refund Details:
Your total refund is:
£260.00
Please note that it will usually take 3-5 business days for any payment card refunds to appear in your account. Cheque refunds will usually take 14 days to arrive.
We are sorry for any problems you may have had, but hope that you choose to shop again with Tesco Direct soon.
Kind regards,
The Tesco Direct Team
Just spoken to Derek at Tesco, who's confirmed my refund of £313.01.
Off to collect my new toy now :T:T
EDIT: And they've just also called me to confirm. Good service in the end TBF.0 -

I just got my receipt of a refund also for my 32Gb TouchPad. Great news!0

I just gave Tesco a call about it (because I want to open it!) and quick as a flash they refunded the difference. Just waiting for an e-mail now to confirm.
Seriously great outcome from this and great service from Tesco (even if it did take a while to get here!).
I'll be telling all my friends to shop at Tesco because underneath it all they're good eggs really.
Thanks to all you guys here who helped make this possible with some really articulate thoughts and ideas and actions.
And again thanks to Tesco.0 -
Ummmm....I wouldn't quite go THAT far... ;-)
Haha maybe! Credit where credit's due though. :T
It's a lovely looking bit of kit actually. Part of me doesn't want to get my fingerprints all over it! A tad heavier than I expected but that's not a complaint at all. At this price there's absolutely nothing you can complain about for it!
Now on to the hunt for a nice (reduced) case...

When I ordered my 32gb version it said it was worth around 890 points. Not sure it'll be that many post price decrease!0
