B&q chimeneas £10

The first store I spoke to weren't much help as I said, but we have two stores in town so called the other one who were much more helpful. They didn't have the medium chiminea for £10 but said they had the large one for £15 and would hold on to it for 24 hrs for me and they are also holding a bbq for me reduced from £90 to £20. Better service but if Argos can crack the "reserve and collect" system why can't B&Q??

lol just had my out of stock call for my £10 parasol and £20 chimnea, SHOCKER!

Reserved a £20 at the nearest store and phoned after to check. Surprise, surprise no stock. Phoned another store just to ask if they had as showing out of stock online for that store only to be told they had one. Asked him to keep it for me. Arrived there an hour later, spoke to the same boy who got it for me and also said we have a £10 one too do you want that instead. No. I wanted both. Would have loved 2 of the £20 ones but one of each is brilliant. Worth phoning the store to check even though it says out of stock. Thanks op.

I reserved one of these this morning from Peterborough store at 9am for collection tmw. After reading the other thread about B&Q R&C service and Rinkrat's comment I decided to bite the bullet and go to the store I managed to get the last one on the shelf. It was lucky I did as I just got my out of stock phone call....

I had a big let down with B & Q today

Missed out on ordering a lovelly swinging chair online as it said they had one on my local store so reserved one there only to get a call tonight saying they cant find it !! am cross as its sold out online now so i wont get one !

they do however have my £10 parasol so am going in to collect it in the morning

I picked up one of my two£20 chimineas, they didn;t have the other one, but still very pleased with it and the pizza stones, bbq tools etc i got... thank you very much OP

I reserved 2 of the £20 chimenias for my folks to collect today. The store 5 mins from then was OOS so reserved one the other side of the city. Shock - they got there and they had gone. In this day and age it's disgraceful that big chains like B&Q, M&S, Argos etc all have issues with reserving stock.

Well posted too soon about how delighted I was to get a £10 one and a £20 one. Both are broken. Think that's why they'd been left as they were right up on the very top. Really annoyed as it means another 46 mile round trip to put them back. 92 miles for nothing - not impressed now.

Eventually, i'll send all the complaints to the relevant person at B&Q.
