How much do you pay each month??
Just out of interested what do people pay each month for their gas/electric?
We are in a 3 bed semi and pay £40 direct debit on the gas, which we think we need to put up so covers winter, like it did last year, but British Gas keep trying to reduce it! electric I always top the meter up to £60 at the beginning of the month, so usually put on between £45 and £55, we were putting £40 on 18 months ago but did sometimes run out.... I didn't think was too awful, but maybe it is?

We pay £29 per month direct debit for electricity for a 3 bedroomed detached bungalow.0

Is that all year? or is it more in the winter? Saying that we have electric oven and hob, so the gas is only for the hot water and the heating, so suppose we would use more electric and less gas than those who cook with gas!0

I pay £78 per month for gas and electricity for a 3 bedroom terrace. I think this is a lot as in the winter we only have the heating on for a short time each day.0

I suppose it also depends how many there are in the house, we have 2 adults and 2 children (3 and 1)0

2&2 in a 2 bed flat; wooden front & back doors; only single glazes sash windows in living room but the rest double glazed UPVC; gas for the water and heating only; electric cooker; PC constantly on; energy saving bulbs all round. Across the year our combined energy bill averages at about £115 per month (this is based on my own spreadsheet, not eOn's calculations & bills). I never thought this was particularly high until now...Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.- Mark TwainArguing with idiots is like playing chess with a pigeon: no matter how good you are at chess, its just going to knock over the pieces and strut around like its victorious.0

2 bed semi , 2 adults, £66 per month by DD with Scottish Power thats Dual Fuel.. they just put it down £10 which surprised me as I had the heat on low 24/7 for weeks last Winter in that big freeze , but we are still in credit so I guess its pretty accurate.. although I won't be surprised if they put it up again once the Winter comes..#6 of the SKI-ers Club :j

£51 a month each for gas and electric! there are 4 adults in a end of terrace 3 bedroom house, 70's build tiled front and back walls so cant be cavity filled! draughty!!!!! Gas is only water and heating but we have had to catch up with last winters bills and hopefully this will mean we will not start next year with a big owe, although we try to use the heating as little as possible and keep one warm room with a calor gas fire.0

2 of us in a 3 bed detached bungalow here, paying £40 a month for both combined, currently using a fair bit less than that so starting to build up some credit for winter.
During winter we will be using a fair amount of wood as well though.0 -
I pay £65 per month for gas and electricity in a 3 bedroomed house. I had the heating on low 24/7 when the winter was at its coldest." The greatest wealth is to live content with little."
