Thanks Bonsi...some of the youtube stuff is so funny. :rotfl:
Kindle collected and charging as I type.:j
SBs father is allegedly being taken to court in 2 weeks over the current £5k in arrears. He's appealed to his dad to save him from prison (he's 55 and his dad was 82 last week). His dad has now told my dad that they can't meet anymore, they currently go out twice a week. So get again ex-husband has managed to muck up everyone else whilst his life is completely unaffected. What a lovely man.:A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. Marcel Proust :A0 -
yet again words fail me..how low that he asks his 82 year old father and then it affects your poor Dad0

What a horrible man your ex sounds, it sounds like he has never grown up.... if you have a child it is your duty to support them, both emotionally and financially. As taxi says "words fail"
Yahhhhh to the kindle I have one and I love it, because I live on a boat my books were taking up loads of space and the kindle is a great space saving device.... well thats my excuse!!!:)0 -
I love this one.....http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3GRSbr0EYYU
You have probably seen it .... think the guy was having"one of those days" Its the last frantic "jesus christ" that really makes me chuckle.... !!!0 -
Thanks Taxi and Bast, nice to know I'm not going completely insane!
Ex has now cancelled on SB for 3rd week running. He's promised to definately spend time with him next week...we'll see.
On the money front he was to pay £22 per week but stopped after 5 payments. Between him and his gf they smoke at least 60 a day and go out 4 to 5 nights a week. He sees this as his basic human rights. So for the price of a days worth of fags he could have paid his child something, puts it in perspective really.
I think my dad's really upset he's lost the only person he sees regularly. Ex's dad was seemingly very depressed yesterday. You really don't need this nonsense in your 80s.
On a happier note...I'm in Kindle love. :j Working my way through Amazon picking up some free and cheapish books so I've a nice selection for the hospital. I couldn't believe how easy it was to set up (this from woman with iphone still in biscuit tin). And it coming in a box containing only a tiny fold out set-up guide and plug was fab. I didn't feel that panic when you open a new gadget and think there's more kit here than an Artic expedition (and hastily close said box and transfer to tin de jour - the shame).
And Bast...video was fab. I've been there...she's selectively deaf.:A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. Marcel Proust :A0 -

At least the Kindle bit is good news.

But Beanie look on the bright side...he doesn't talk to me AND the threat of moving in here to look after SB when I die (his words) is the greatest kick up the ars* ever to stay alive just to hack him off:A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom.
