Hi EH,
Greying is a star and the recipes yum yum yum.
SB is up for the barra escapee so will be on the list. That will be my job over the coming day, not sure how best to achieve drawing up that list.
Anyhoo, the important point is you're here, there's water in the kettle, wine everywhere and chocolate in the fridge. Please make yourself at home while I select the ghost story I procured for 60p this evening. MR James awaits.
(My slightly 12 hour skewed response lol) xx. Started at 1 am and finished 1 pm:A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. Marcel Proust :A0 -

Hope the visit to the hospital goes to plan as does the rest of the day - although I think it is fair to say that you may well be in the running to win the prize for the most eclectic, 'to do' list of the day:D:D
Keep safe, warm and well.
Greying
Oh I do so love eclectic. It's one those special words. Rolls around the mouth, slightly tingly bouquet and then breathe in deep through the nose to release the almost heady topiary of woodsmoke and cracking leather. Oh a bottle or two of that please mon patron.EssexHebridean wrote: »Hey KJ - I've just read your diary from start to finish after you were mentioned by the rather lovely Greying Pilgrim. What a rollercoaster ride you've been on over the past few years. Will be subscribing and following from now - and will be looking forward to you telling me in due course what landing on the beach at Barra is like - that one's on my list for the future too!
Hope drain removal goes well.
Drain removal went at 2am where I some how did it me selfThen had to go Edinburgh to check nothing was lodged. Got back after 4, now doing zombie impersonations

Slight c@ck up of the drugs front yesterday evening. Think I did it twice! But I'm awake. Now, had two cups do tea and a boc of matchmakers to recover lol.
Still not heard my ghostly story from mr James...so hush children, settle round and listen ....:A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. Marcel Proust :A0 -
Matchmakers medicinal ? Oh how wonderful, i wonder if Malteasers have the same effect ?
Great to hear you sounding so upbeat after your "procedure", keep going at the drugs Its just a bad day, Not a bad life .. :cool:0 -
Mara - someone asked me how I coped with Mr SA's illness and I replied red wine, maltesers and coffee - it worked for me so never under estimate the power of the malteser!
Kissjenn I hope things are ok with you.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
Indubitably.
Anything which can make you smile and not completely rot your brain has to be good in my book. Having said that I'm about to have a bit of turkey and swallow some morphine. If I mix those up it could end badly lol. Never see a postmortem with a turkey drummer wedged up someone's nostril :rotfl::A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom.
