Today has been spent lazing about and starting to very slowly move presents upstairs.
Tomorrow I'm going back into hospital to have the drain removed. The cinema's not far from there and I know SB is keep on seeing both Anchorman 2 and Walter Mitty. Plus we need a tin opener...he almost fell into the insidious snatches of anorexia when he couldn't get into a Frey Bentos pie when I was in hospital.
So hospital, movies and can opener tomorrow. Then we're back into the weekend...in retrospect a quick week. Friend coming for dinner tomorrow night as well. SB got the "Walking Dead" board came for his Christmas so we may give that a whirl.

Hey KJ - I've just read your diary from start to finish after you were mentioned by the rather lovely Greying Pilgrim. What a rollercoaster ride you've been on over the past few years. Will be subscribing and following from now - and will be looking forward to you telling me in due course what landing on the beach at Barra is like - that one's on my list for the future too!

Morning kissjen and all
Hope the visit to the hospital goes to plan as does the rest of the day - although I think it is fair to say that you may well be in the running to win the prize for the most eclectic, 'to do' list of the day:D:D
Keep safe, warm and well.

Just catching up with your diary kissjenn and so pleased to hear you're back at home! Hope you enjoy the remainder of Christmas and that 2014 is a good year for you. I have Asda deliveries too and often they substitute with strange items. One week I ordered a bottle of red wine and they substituted it with white - are they saying they were sold out of red! It's a shame you can't rely on them to deliver things you really need. If I really really need something I go to a real shop and pick it up myself.
Wishing you a speedy recovery!I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
Wow Kissjenn I take my metaphorical hat off to you - amazed to see how you're bouncing back, you have so much energy it's incredible!
Hope all goes well today; short queue at hosp., easily located tin-opener, and a great time at the cinema!
