Your order has been received, we will be processing your transaction as soon as possible. Please note: due to the current high volumes of orders that are being placed, unfortunately we cannot guarantee next day delivery.

I only knew it because I had been watching my touchpad order......lol.

Have they provisionally taken the money from your card?

I have a pre3 ordered from the palm eurostore website. Everyone that has received a call recently (as far as I can see) has been quoted £299. This is too expensive for my tastes as I don’t think it’s worth that amount of money. Now that HP are showing on their website a price of £69 has anyone had any luck from palm eurostore for accepting that they will refund the difference? I had thought that palm eurostore was affiliated with HP but from what everyone is saying they seem just to be a retailer.
If I am correct the palm eurostore website did advertise at one point that the item would be significantly reduced and come with extras, now that it won’t, does this count as the meanest bait and switch ever??!
Anyway advice please, some of you may have seen the fuss I had to go through with Argos by buying a touchpad at full price then the rigmarole of getting it part refunded, I’d rather avoid doing this again, .... but if it would ultimately mean I ended up with a new phone (for my wife) for £69 I would be happy. I know I’m safer in accepting this anyway as it will be covered by DSR whereas the Argos table wasn’t.
I’ll probably end up getting a call from Palm eurostore anyway saying that my order cannot be fulfilled anyway!
    Cheers

You can return in 7 days if not happy

You sure about that? You have to set up a business account for Clearbox don't you? I think if you do that, it's a business to business transaction and then not subject to the DSR - I'm pretty sure someone on here had problems for the same reason with the touchpad.

We had one order unsuccessful and one order successful for the touchpad however they provisionally took the money for both transactions. This provision has not been lifted yet, despite me having confirmation that one order definitely was unsuccessful.....

from what i could see, anyone can buy without registering and they also have a paypal checkout which is even quicker so not sure about the business part
