Well chuffed. I went to Smyths to pick up a Stars Wars Advent Calendar for my boys and before I purchased I asked the salesgirl if they had any money off vouchers etc not expecting that there would be any.
She gave me a promotional A4 size leaflet with various offers advertised and on it was a voucher for £5 off a £15 or more spend valid from 1/10/11 to 18/10/11.So I got the calendar for £14.99 !
They normally keep these where you sign up for the free catalogue but the girl got me one from under the counter.
£5 off £15 is well worth a heads up if you are buying anything instore at Smyths as it can be used on anything.
If you can't see it its worth asking.
(I've scanned the voucher. It should come up as the deal pic if I've done it right.)
Many thanks to miffyl who posted the other Star Wars Calendar deal as I wouldn't have found it without you!.
P.S This was also eligible for the 'On-Shelf Promise' so if are going to the store check stock and print yourself the promise voucher from the website. That way if it was out of stock when you got there you would get a free £7 voucher.
They also had the Thomas Trackmaster Zip Zoom Log adventure playset for £39.99 which seems a good price and the Hot Wheels Mega garage for £24.99.Even better if when you take the five pounds off from the voucher0 -

Amazon often have deals like this Kazzy, it's also sold by a third party seller on Amazon, sold by PEMA-Werbung. These offers do tend to go very quickly, so don't hesitate if you want one.
Good price, good find and well spotted.0 -
Argos currently have 25% off all the Lego City range and includes the 2011 Advent Calenders if you're after one.
If you can't see this offer via the link below, go to their home page, click on Lego City next to where it says Save 25%, and then scrole down a bit, it should say £13.49.
LEGO® City Advent Calender 2011 - Was £17.99 Now £13.49 at Argos0 -

AND!!!
To be fair I MUCH prefer pics to know what to look out for, whether it's my bag at all. There really in no need to be rude this thread is usefull & often people will just go to last read post so things can get easily overlooked.
As we were people.
I prefer the Star Wars advent but no Smyths near me.0
