not a lego bargain as such, but in the lego store I saw a new set, for a red traditional VW campervan, its 79.99 I think, and I can find images online but not the product anywhere cheaper. It looks a lot better in real life than in the link below.

My daughter has just moved up to proper sized lego from Duplo and I have been trying hard to find a decent lego girl's range. Not impressed with lego's offerings I have found 'sluban' a 'lego compatible' set which has a fantastic girls range. Best of all it's really good value.
I ordered from a shop in Ireland. It's priced in euro's but I just used a currency converter to find the price in pounds.

Postage was free as I ordered over 50 euro's. I was a little concerned it might be really cheap quality but it is fantastic! My 4 and 7 year olds certainly can't tell the difference.
OK so it wont be for the lego purists amongst you, but a very inexpensive alternative for moneysavers and a nice addition to the usual range too.

While up until now Lego have not catered to girls so much (aside from the Belville range), early next year will see the launch of the Lego Friends line. Other themes to look forward to include Lego Dino (think Jurassic Park), a continuation of Ninjago (with Snakemen replacing the skeletons), and a spin off of City (forest based Police and Fire sets). Not to mention Lego having made a deal with DC and Marvel, meaning lots of caped crusaders, and iron men to look forward to in the Lego Superheroes line!

Half price on RRP, only £3.99 at WHSmith, then on a buy 1 get 1 half price deal, so get two for £5.98, bargain! This was in my local store, not sure if deal is online.
