I hate paying full price for Lego after I saw the price of it in the States. I wanted the Lego Friends Stables but at approx £55.00 I thought it was a bit steep. Luckily my friend offered to pick it up in the States and even posting it when she got back - it cost me £36.00  When I e-mailed Lego to ask why it was so much more in Britain I was told it was simply down to supply and demand - USA is bigger so more people buy so they charge less - so poor GB has no chance. So then I began trawling the Web. Now Amazon.com won't ship Lego Friends to the UK but Amazon France does - and its cheaper - only downside is its obviously in French so you either need to translate it or speak French!!! I also found a link called BrickLink.com - sorry I don't know how to post links so it may be worth having a look around ther. I ended up buying a set of Lego Friends from Holland - think I saved about £7.00 all in all - every little helps. Hope this can help someone.0

Over the last few weeks I have found some of the lego ninjago stuff half price at Asda in the clearance bit. Found in 2 different local stores now. Mostly spinners for £3.50. Today I managed to get a training set for 5.40 I think. Never did find any of the friends sets that some reported half price so could be regional but thought it worth mentioning as others reporting other half price lego in Asda.0

I have seen posts stating that Olympic figures reduced in Tesco but have visited 2 locally (actually 30 mile round trip to my local tescos's) and not seen any (Seacroft, Leeds and Acomb both 24 hr extra stores). Perhaps it would be helpful to alert people to stores that do have stock via this thread rather than wasting petrol on a fool's errand? I'll kick off - the two trips above were done a week ago.
Also Monks Cross York Sainsbury's had a clip of olympic minifigures attached to a stand with poster staing up to 60 to 90% off olympic items. Lego were still priced at £2 SA felt they would be reduced but when I went to price check at CS - they were still £2! i guess they might change their mind in the near future.
Have had this with a couple of Sainsbury's regional variations. ie Lego brick lunchbox and flask - some were half price reported on here. Found at Coulton Leeds on their reduction aisle but got to checkout and £10 each ! Checked at Monks Cross and no reductions there. don't think these will change before Xmas now but I live in hope.
Lost my job this year but would love to get these olympic minifigures (or missing series 7 ones we still have to collect) as stocking stuffers for my kids.
HTH someone and we can all share to help others. Thanks to all who post bargains on here - great help:T0 -

Maybe not the cheapest base price, but it is included in the 3 for 2 and also there is a code for £10 off £50 spend here - thanks to Lily_RoseCode works for a points spend too - deducts 1000 points from the amount owing

Boots are being really mean though and will only let you have a maximum of one Star Wars calender per customer!0 -
