  • Yesterday was expensive: I spent £45.something on college materials and hmm, can't remember what else, but I'm sure there was something else. Oh, and £5 for a birthday cake in college. And £1.09 for a drink.

Today I spent £4.50 on car parking.

An expensive few days, then. I was treated to a lovely birthday meal, though. :)
  • I returned a £32.00 dress I bought for office wear to Next, and the money has gone back on my CC so that means I now owed a total of £2227.48 rather than £2259.48 to start.

    Every little helps! :)

Well done, feels good to have it going the right way without too much effort doesn't it! Mine just seems to be going up and up at the moment with the moving expenses, just glad that I'm getting overtime which should be paid next month to go towards in while I wait for the deposit to be returned from the flat!

  • Thanks yellow, and scubaangel. :)

I sympathise with the moving, scuba...it's one of those never-ending pits of expense, isn't it?! :(

As for the rest, I remembered that the other thing I bought the other day was my goddaughter's Christmas present (lots of little bits for £20 - her birthday is just after Christmas, so I may split it up a bit if needed), and last night I went out with my best friend for my birthday and spent £37 on dinner in an AMAZING restaurant (she planned it and wanted to pay, but I couldn't let her pay it all - bit of a hole in the budget.)

Hmm....I'm not doing very well on this whole :money: lark, am I?

    Must. Try. Harder.
  • T'is my birthday today :) (well, technically yesterday...;) ).

Spends: £4.?? for birthday drinks at the pub, plus £2.80 on coke so I didn't fall asleep at the wheel.

    Oh, and I got a well-paid PT job. :j

Hopefully this is the start of good thing. :D

Hope the new pt job is going well, and you're just too busy to post!
