It really is a revelation, I hate the idea of living my entire life through technology, and especially in carrying around a device which if I lost it gives such easy access to everything but I do love my HTC. - esp over the last couple of weeks while my laptop was dead and I was using the netbook for everything. The only thing I couldn't do on it was find the address' for my buyers - although I think its in there somewhere.

Fingers crossed you can get it sorted then, it really is annoying I ended up with a 24 month contract as it still worked out cheaper than paying up front for a handset, and saves me enough each month that as long as I save the difference between this and my previous contract I can replace it after 18 months - not that I have managed to save mind you but with any luck by the time I reach the last few months of my contract I can be debt free or near it.

It's funny, but I was looking at an HTC and figured that if I bought it upfront and got the SIM-only deal, it would be cheaper than a 12 month contract (I'm not getting involved in that 18-24 month nonsense). I figured that if it at least covered the insurance, I would be happy. I'll have to have a serious think...

There are some really good deals about at the moment, esp as the newer generation of HTC are out but they still have the previous ones too, def worth doing some shopping around though.

If you have any links, feel free to pass them on! ;) I'll have a look when I get the chance. :)

Today I have spent £1.90 buying some soft drinks as a treat for a friend.

I have also spent 3 hours sat in the car running around for nothing, so I'm quite vexed about that!

I've still got lots to do, so had better go do it. :p

Ooh, I have been a naughty SunFlower...I've not been here for ages.

Suffice to say I've spent a fair amount (details to follow), and I'll be back when I can, but I've also had some exciting life developments as well. :)

    Hope you are well.

  • Oh me, oh my, it has been quite a while! :o:p

Well, after my sterling efforts at paying off the old CC during the first half of the month, things have since gone downhill: I have added a few pounds due to inaccurate planning for the end of the month, and promptly got let go from my job on Friday evening. It was totally out of the blue. And I wasn't the only one.

So now I am back, and I have much to do. With this weekend being a free listings weekend on Ebay I have listed many Pretty Dresses (and the capitalisation indeed indicates that I do not particularly wish to sell them ;)), but I have been meaning to do it for ages as my wardrobe is full to bursting point, and the cash would be nice as well. Now is also a very good time to sell as people are thinking of posh frocks for Christmas doos etc., so if they are likely to go, now is the time.

On the plus side, I managed to get some work experience required for my college course, so that is a weight off my shoulders. :)

Right, I need to go to bed as I have a looooong day ahead of me tomorrow, including college in the evening, for which I have yet to do my homework. Honestly, I'm worse than a naughty school child. :o

So glad I didn't try to hold my breath!

Sorry to hear about the job. Fingers crossed the Pretty Dresses sell for lots and lots of money, I haven't dared to rid my wardrobe yet as the things which still fit are limited and the rest is falling apart. Hopefully after Christmas then I reach my target weight I can think about clearing it out to start over.

:rotfl: They need a green smiley holding his/her breath without the vomiting look to describe what would have happened otherwise! ;)

I'm in the unenviable position of being one size up from the majority of my dresses (the ones for sale included). I need a to loose a dress size, and it would mean that I would have a whole new wardrobe of my old clothes (many of which have not been worn)!

Green? I think you mean white and skeletal...which to be fair is appropriate for the time of year :)

A few months ago I had the same problem - at the last check I've carelessly lost 1stone 5lb, and still nothing fits properly - tis most irritating that I've bought size 12 clothes intending to use them to replace assorted other things to find that some don't fit coz they;re too big, some too small and some just plain weirdly shaped! I have far more unworn with labels clothes than I care to remember sat in my wardrobe at my Dad's house - on my next visit I'll spend another day sorting things and probably managed to throw out 3 things and send 5 to the charity shop like last time. :o
