Running is rather evil so I reckon its much safer not to bother (although I'll keep doing it as if I don't the other half will start chasing me with a big stick and calling me lazy!), at some point I do need to register at the local gym since thanks to my job I can use the facilities for £5 a year but as I loathe gyms, it's hard to motivate myself to do it - but when I do they've a running track I can use and a nice 50m swimming pool I could use at silly am.

Glad you got the money pad'ed nothing more annoying than wanting to do something and not being allowed to for no logical reason is there!

    Nope! :D

    And today's spends:

68p on 2 greetings cards to send to a well-deserving friend for 2 separate special occasions.

£2.68 coconut oil for soap-making (where do I think I will get the time? :rotfl:)

£2.00 on tonight's Euromillions (it was "lucky money": I had to - them's the rules!)

    £2.20 public transport.

+ £10 for cashed Lottery ticket (can I just point out I don't play the Lottery very often...I just did if for the stupidly large rollover and was lucky enough to win a tiny amount.)

And I PADed £3.00 over that I would have spent on lunch off my CC as well. :)

Right, on with work...there's a lot to be done tonight! :p
  • I also suffer with my knees and couldn't run for toffee :o If you have bad joints, jarring them with the impact of running is one of the worst things you can do. I personally have built it up walking lots and lots and swimming. I am now walking a fair amount every day and don't get much (if any) discomfort in my knees or hips. When you walk, you are doing low impact but it is building the strength in the tendons and ligaments and muscles that support your joints. You might find if you strengthen all these bits, you are able to do much more physically without pain - works for me :o

What book are you reading at the moment?
    Just keep swimming!

 Hello! I agree with you about the running, Itsadogslife: however, for some stupid reason, the idea of running a marathon is hugely appealig to me. It may have to be one I cross out of the To Do list forever. *sighs*

Indeed it is! Alas, I did little accumulating, so that means I wasted £2. Ah well...:rotfl:

Wasn't here yesterday as I was very busy. I can't find my diary, so I'll have to tell you about my spends the day after tomorrow as I am out partaying tomorrow night. :D
  • Oh very dear. I have totally blown this challenge! :rotfl:

I had a very expensive night out last night (about £80, and try as I might, I couldn't make it cheaper!), and bought something expensive today (£297): it's something I would have had to have bought sooner rather than later, but I was hoping to delay it. Alas, I couldn't, so I've bitten the bullet. It's a once-off in a lifetime, so I can't say too much, but the timing is lousy!

However, that doesn't mean that I can't still try to pay off as much as possible in the meantime, and be sensible in general.

Oh, I was notified of a £16.75 Quidco payment today. It's small fry compared to what I have spent, but it's better than nothing! :T :rotfl: I won't add it to my total at the bottom until it has come through and been paid off, though.

P.S. I think it's a free listing weekend, so I have better get listing away as much as possible tomorrow.

It is indeed a free listing weekend, and guess who can't find any of the reasonable stuff worth selling for more than 99p.....meh at least I've managed to get some listings up this weekend.

Well done, you! :) I've got tons of stuff to put up, but I have a music lesson tomorrow and am supposed to be making Christmas cakes as well. More hours in the day, please! ;)

I've been using the ebay app on my phone, made it so much easier to list things, photo's arent as good as they would be with my 'real' camera but it'll do for the cheap stuff I've been able to get at to list.

Def agree with needing more hours in the day though, was up at 0545 to start work at 0630 and feel like I've not sat down since then. Tomorrow should be quieter though so might be able to find some of the other stuff before work at lunch time.

I don't have a phone technologically capable of doing these things, but I like the idea - it does sounds easier.

Annoyingly, I really DO need a technologically sound phone for doing a project I'm doing. I was hoping to buy one outright with and buy a SIM-only deal, which I figured would save about £100 overall, even though it would be a large initial down payment. I might not be able to do it. Pah!
