Help, stolen phone costs - Feel sick

@Flip77
The claw back arrangement that your Network has with mBlox (for example) has nothing to do with when you reported the phone stolen.
It covers all the revenue and is there to protect the Network in the event the intended victim (customer) refuses to pay the bill. It's contained in Annex E of the BT business billing agreement for example.
The problem you will find is that your Network and mBlox and the owners of the 070 numbers all have a vested interest that victims pay these fraudulent bills.0 -
Thanks. I phoned mblox and they actually said it was allopass who are responsible. Mind you apparently here are loads of numbers so it could be multiple companies.
I will call phonepayplus tomorrow and take it forward with them.
Will keep the forum updated in case others have the same/similar problem.
You've been really helpful.0 -
Success.
Well bit of a fluke really.
Phonepayplus couldn't help.
Mobile company wouldnt help either
However my phone insurance is tgrough the bank. I thought I changed the phones on the policy but it looks like I didn't.
It also transpires that my insurance company will pay out if I phoned the police and network within 24 hours of REALISING the phone was missing. Therefore the claim has gone in.....Big sigh of relief!!
Thanks to all who tried to help.0 -

Nice one. so T-Mobile were only interested in profiting from the the theft and PhonepayPlus and mBlox well......several years ago the owner of mBlox, Andrew Bud was a key decision maker on the board of PhonepayPlus...he was forced to resign because his company was continually and routinely involved with premium rate complaints and fines concerning the targeting and swindling from phone accounts for example.
