Just got back from Turkey
We like a coffee in our room before we go out on an evening, yes I do like proper Turkish coffee
Usually take a couple of packs of those all in one coffee and milk sachets, frequently on BOGOF at the supermarket, or a £1 at the £shop.
In the supermarkets in Hisaronou (AZDA and Migros) they had the sachets at 35 kurush (or whatever there called), 100 kurush to the TL, 2.80TL to the £1.
My calculations around 7 coffees for a £10 -

I did exactly the same a few years ago & it was fine, the worst that can happen is that they can give you an anal :eek:0 -
Hi thought I would add my comments. we always take our own coffee making kit, sometimes take our own biscuits as well! I just pack it all in the suitcase. Never in all the years we have been travelling had any problems. Take it and enjoy. Most of us know exactly what you mean.0
