Most things have reasons
In this case HP are no longer making this and thus eventually wont support it. Its still a very good product and should get many years use from it
Its a shame they haven't its about time Apple got a bloody nose selling over priced goodssawyer1988 wrote: »As someone who works for currys, they have been reduced for a reason...you get what you pay for...0 -
Makes me slightly sick that HP can sell these at £89 and still make such a profit.....Just think what they must make when they're sold full price!
No luck getting one so far....."Buy me, Lady", said the frock, "and I will make you into a BEAUTIFUL & WHOLE & COMPLETE human being"."Do not be silly", said the Man, "for a frock alone cannot do that"."True", said the Lady, "I will have the shoes and the bag as well".:rotfl:0 -

Apparently this firesale is making them a loss of $100m. I think I read somewhere that it costs around $318 to make one of these, so they're selling 'em at a massive loss!0 -
Ooop - sorry, I stand corrected - reaaaally want one!!
Fingers crossed they'll be some more stock tomorrow!"Buy me, Lady", said the frock, "and I will make you into a BEAUTIFUL & WHOLE & COMPLETE human being"."Do not be silly", said the Man, "for a frock alone cannot do that"."True", said the Lady, "I will have the shoes and the bag as well".:rotfl:0 -

It's reduced to clear, same as when the Ipad was available for £79.0 -
Who said they are making a profit?
They are losing something in the region of $200 per unit on the hardware, have lost $330 million in terms of corporate investments and have already warned the market that they need to make a billion dollar charge against revenue because of the costs of writing off hardware and closing down the WebOS hardware department.
HP are taking a serious bath in their rush to get out of the consumer tablet market.0
