Amazon don't - it's the 3rd party sellers. Amazon themselves have no stock.

has anyone who managed to bag one from Amazon had delivery date email confirmation yet? I'm not going to get my hopes up!
Women marry men hoping they will change, men marry women hoping they won't! Inevitably they will both be disappointed.

  • just had text from Argos saying my reservation for 16gb is ready to collect instore UNTIL 30th August.... anyone else had something like this? Think it may be best to leave it until the last day to get it, and if they haven't dropped the price by then I guess they never will!

    RE: Angry Birds and Android
I actually own one of these, bought for £400 on launch day. Angry Birds HD is available, and FREE on the Touchpad. Rio HD is meant to be on the way too. The phone versions of Angry Birds, Seasons and Rio, all of which I had bought on my phone, also work fine on the Touchpad.
There is LOADS of software available for it (nowhere near as much as iOS, about the same tablet wise as Android, OK maybe a bit less now).
It's a really slick OS, much easier to use than Android (yes I have an HTC Sensation so CAN compare), and the Touchpad also comes with 50GB of online storage too. Sound is far better than an iPad.
Please don't install Android on it, the OS is the best part!
Plenty of devs have said they'll continue support, and HP aren't done with announcements yet. The dust hasn't settled.
