I had a letter through today from FSCS, regarding Welcome loan. I had two with them, one personal and one car loan etc, do I need to fill out two forms or does the one the FSCS sent cover both of these? any advice is much appreciated!

I would think you can put both account numbers on the form if the reasons for mis sell are the same, give FSCS a ring to make sure.

Hi folks - thanks for the replies.

Just a quick note to say that I received the FSCS forms and within 20 days of returning them had the money sitting in my current account.

The FSCS forms were easy to fill and the whole process was thankfully, completely painless. :)

    Good luck everyone!

    hello

when did you put the forms in ? Was this recent ? Also hope you dont mind me asking was this just for 1 loan ?

    Thanks
  • It seems that FSCS are crediting the reclaims to outstandin loans. I am really annoyed about his as Welcome also state that the loan will not be reduced. Effectively that means I will be payin interest on the PPI for the remAining term of the loan. Interested in hearin if anyone has chAllenged this?
  • Is there not any way around this for you ??

    Hi RMTOM44 - sorry!

I sent it in, in the last week of October so yes, fairly recent.
It was my 2005 loan - they are dealing with my other one just now (sent it in mid November) and so far it again seems fairly straightforward. I sent in the completed questionnaire and have received regular updates about the progress of the complaint. Fingers crossed! :D

    I'll let you know

I rang welcome today and they advised me my claimis at stage 5 . it has gone to management to check over and they have everything they need and complied to fcsc rules ..

Have not got a clue what happens next but they have said its upheld.

Hope it does not take much longer ..

    Hows your claim going ?

    thanks
