    Total so far - £4.32/£20

    Hi all

I'm being a bit absent this week I'm afraid, work has kicked off again massively, but I knew it would so was expecting this. Bearing in mind my hours are 9-5, Mon-Fri, on Mon I did 0820-2130, Tue was better 0840-1845, and today 0900-1940. Shame I don't get paid overtime, huh!

Bonus is a non-spendy week, although I did go to the pub last night after work - needed it though to be fair! :rotfl:

21 Aug - Baccy etc - £4.32 (I'm trying rollies, if I have to smoke I need to do it cheaper)
    22 Aug - NSD!
    23 Aug - Drinks - £8.65
    24 Aug - NSD!

    Total so far: £12.97

My rollie plan is working well, haven't bought any more, and have half a pack of baccy left which i bought sunday afternoon. And believe me, I've not been skimping. For those of you who see my normal spends in a week, I'm sure you can see what a huge saving this is!

Planned spends are more Rizla tomorrow as I have 1 left, and possibly a small top up shop - not sure how or when!

Anyway, enjoy the rest of your week all, hope it's going better than mine! Thank god it's BH weekend - I am SOOO tired!!! :rotfl:

LC I am off to Cape Verde for two weeks on Sunday. Are you ok to run the thread while I am away?

Fantastic, lucky you! I hope you have a wonderful time! Of course I can run the thread, no worries at all!
MissLJays what is a Harry Gow?

    I'm so glad you asked as I thought I was being stupid! I see now it's a bakery...mmmmm... bakery.:D
I have making an effort to boycott the canteen at work as they have put the prices up too much for my liking. Soup went from 75p to £1 and salad from £2.70 to £3.25

Soup not so bad as long as it's a decent portion, but salad is insane!!! Shame our office moved a few weeks ago, as when we were based in the hospital grounds, we had subsidised lunches at £1.25 for a main, 50p for chips, 75p for pud or soup and roll. And they had the most awesome salad bar. I miss it :o
Anyway, don't blame you for boycotting!

    Hi all!

Not doing too bad so far this week....just added up my spending and at the moment it sits at £8.97, and it's Friday tomorrow, yay! :j However I do need to get a couple of bits from Tesco, and I will probably have a couple of drinks after work tomorrow. I will be very disappointed with myself if I go over my budget though!!

Well done on the spending LC - the rollies are certainly helping! I wish my OH would persevere with the rollies - he tries every so often, to save money, then gives up because he's too lazy to roll them so buys normal cigarettes! lol

Well, I've already gone over my budget for the week and I haven't even got petrol yet. Must try harder!
Spent £6.42 in Asda on Tuesday and £6.30 at fat club.
Today I've spent £2.55 on lunch because I forgot it this morning and £9.09 on my game from work.

    Total £42.40/£40
    Oops.

    Will try again next week.

Bought a small pack of baccy last night to tide me over the weekend and up to pay day on Wednesday. Today will be an NSD.

    Hi All

    Just a quick update:

    £8.82 - sandwich and cigs
    £19.90 - dry cleaning

Total so far £28.72 - I'm running mine from Sunday to Saturday if that's ok as most of my spends tend to be over the weekend, albeit I don't have anything planned so not expecting to blow the budget....but it's not over till it's over so they say ;)

    Hi all!

Just checking in to declare my spends for the week. As I was so under budget up until yesterday afternoon, I went a little crazy in the evening! lol. However my total spend was still £24.80/£25 :j

I'm away next weekend for my friend's hen do, so this week I think I'll just go Sunday-Thursday. With that in mind, I'll pledge £20 this week, and hoping for another green week!! Really going to be tight with the pennies as need to save everything I can to cover the hen do expenses!
