    Total so far - £4.32/£20

21 Aug - Baccy etc - £4.32 (I'm trying rollies, if I have to smoke I need to do it cheaper)
    22 Aug - NSD!

    Total so far - £4.32/£20

NSD yesterday, only second one of the month!

I'm keeping track of how many
rollies I get out of this pack, so far there's been 13 rolled, which is from Sunday afternoon. Not bad, and tons left!

Probabaly not one today, think I need to get a little something to pad out lunches for the next couple of days...

hey - im still sticking to my £30 budget - it seems to be working for me at the moment and after payday on friday, i will be able to see where i am again for the month! am left on the dregs now - my partner isnt quite as frugal as me and money just seems to disappear lol so ive had to pass some of my cash across over the last couple of weeks. we're down to £10 spending each to last until thurs evening, but as i say - payday friday which is why the budget is still for £30 :)

it was a NSD for me yesterday :j

    Hello!

Pointypenguin I'm so jealous! Edinburgh in August is my favourite place in the world, there's nothing like it :)

I'd like to pledge £30 this week please, which I'm pretty much at already:

£7.90 - post-audition Starbucks (paid for my friends as well)
    £7.25 - diary and notepad
£3.77 - communal snacks for work
    £10.00 - Oyster top-up

bringing me to £28.92, so I have nothing to spend for the rest of the week. I don't need anything so it shouldn't be a problem. It's been quite easy to stick within budget with this job as I'm on site pretty much 24/7 (Mondays being my only daytime off) so I haven't actually had chance to go out and spend. The challenge will be next week...

Hope everyone's having a lovely week!!

    Hi everyone!

Well a stinking cold decided to rear it's ugly head yesterday, so I have been using some of my budget to purchase Lucozade! (I'm sure it doesn't really help at all, but it makes me feel like I'm doing something!). Also had to buy bread for sandwiches for work so my total spend so far is £5.17/£25.

Hoping for a NSD today as I haven't bought anything so far, and the way I'm feeling I just want to go straight home and curl up on the sofa for the evening! Unless I buy more Lucozade of course... :o

    Hello!

I'm a newbie but would like to join?

    Can I pledge £60?

    Already spent -

    £2.40 - Harry Gows
£6.60 - Bargain kitchen items from tesco!
    £1 - water at gym
    £20 - fuel

    That leaves me £30 :)

I also bought some christmas gifts from the bodyshop using the glitches but they are from my christmas savings fund so I'm not counting that.

    Is this ok?

    Evening all

First post has been updated, welcome to the newbies and returners alike.

LC I am off to Cape Verde for two weeks on Sunday. Are you ok to run the thread while I am away? Good luck with rollies they last forever much cheaper than actual fags.

Ladymay I know I love Edinburgh at festival time, I went across 3 days (I only live in Glasgow so not far) and I was sad to leave on Sunday as I knew I wouldn't manage to get back before the end of Aug.

MissLJays what is a Harry Gow?

Any way no spends to report so far for me as only spends from grocery budget. I have making an effort to boycott the canteen at work as they have put the prices up too much for my liking. Soup went from 75p to £1 and salad from £2.70 to £3.25

Apologies! It's a bakery in the Highlands. I got a pastry for my other half and a filled roll for myself. YUM!

    Ooops!

Just gave partner lend of £9 then put £1 in savings, does that count as a spend? I guess it will as I won't get £9 back untill next week.

    So total so far:

    £31 / £60 :(

Don't know if i'll be meeting my target this week. Got eyebrow wax tomorrow, £8.50, night out on Fri, booo!
