Things You Never Thought You Could Sell

New to this forum and this is my first posting.
This thread is really interesting but then we shouldn't be too surprised to find broken things selling on eBay. After all, isn't that how it all started, with the sale of a broken laser pointer?
regards

New to this forum too. I notice that it is packed with ideas and as I will be decluttering two rooms tomorrow, I thought I would sort out some items and put them into boxes to post up on ebay. This forum has given me faith in even some of my more shoddy, broken or surprising items and I look forward to having a go in selling them. I even have an engagement ring - well, one does have to move on sometime!! lol. Here's hoping to make that extra 200 pounds or so per month.
Good luck to all you other ebayers out there......

Had been storing my brother-in-law's synthesizer for a few years, when he said we could get rid of it.
had just started using eBay, put it in, explaining you could get a noise, but that was it. Explained we'd be in the North West of England, as I really didn't want to post. Guy from Hungary got in touch wanting to know if I'd be willing to post it there !!
Having got the P&P rates for him, he won the auction, and I got very positive feedback !!Baby-Mechanic

And another one up early too!!
What do you reckon I would get for an engagement ring with an insurance value of £1500? It cost £1500 too, no point hanging onto it - need the money instead!!Christians Against Poverty - www.capuk.org0 -
morning campers.. when i moved in to my house 6 yrs ago, i found a box of about 250 radio times and tv times from the early 70's.. well 1 day i was just about to take them to the tip, brought them down from the attic, made a cuppa, then started reading 1 of them, i sat there saying to meself, i remember watching that, and that, and that.. then thought to meself, if im finding these interesting, would others?... so looked on ebay, found that they really do sell, then sold them 1 by 1 over a year.. made £1400, lucky that i had that cuppa before i binned them......Corduroy pillows are making headlines! Good Morning, Just to let you all know there is a 5p listing day on Thursday so if you have some stuff to sell it may be worth waiting until then to list it....:j
As for the ring, why not put a rough description in Ebay and search the listings to see what other similar items have sold for? Maybe if you have a valuation you could send with it too - that might increase the price you get for it0 -
I brought a laptop that i really did'nt need, after two weeks of having it i decided i could try make some of my money back by selling it on ebay.
Lucky me christmas was just round the cornermy 'pink' laptop was sold out every where and mine was the only one on ebay! Made an extra £30 than what i paid

I wonder if the same could be said for carboot sales. I have a tube of Christian Lacroix Noir Men's After Shaving Conditioner (it belongs to OH not me), he tried a little bit and said that it stung his face and promptly washed it off - wonder if I could sell the tube (it self-seals btw so wont go off)?0
