My 3rd item which sold, has not been paid for yet. I've given the buyer 3 days as stated in my listing and have also sent them an invoice, how long should I leave before contacting them again?
TIA0 -

To be fair it's the weekend so don't use these dates as people could be away. I would give them 7 days and send a message then open a dispute. They will soon pay up.
I hate the fact as sellers we cannot leave neg feedback on sloppy buyers but there we go....

My old shoes sold for £2.46 and the freak who bought them didnt pay! Considering the amount of viewings they got, I may relist.
Trouble is, not sure I want all those freaky emails and 'questions' again.0 -
Ebay itself is often much cheaper if you need to buy lots of them, the plastic mailers are also really cheap on ebay if you sell lots of stuff that doesn't need protecting. Steer clear of the grey plastic as they can sometimes leave a smokey smell on things.
I use poly bags, particularly for clothing, didn't notice the smell with the grey ones until you mentioned it!I've received some purchases wrapped in paper that's just come apart (who knows what Royal Mail do with the parcels?!)
There's a few sellers on eBay, I use the same UK supplier everytime, as I get them pretty much next day (am I allowed to give their name??) and they're reliable. For other stuff I try to reuse padded envelopes where I can, as they are expensive and I don't really allow for them in my P&P charges.Worker in, and passionate advocate of, the credit union movement. I don't quite understand something. I thought I'd set my listings so that no international buyers could place bids.
I've had 3. One wanted shipping to his dads address in England, which was fine. But the other two, I sent the invoices with the postage as described on RM website, and one is saying it's too high - and the other hasn't responded. Obviously if they refuse to pay I can just open cases against them, but why are they allowed to bid on my items if it's set to no international buyers?
My understanding is that they can see items, unless you exclude the countries specifically, then it blocks them from bidding, the 'no international postage' just means that you don't have the shipping costs in the listing - I think. You can set up exclusions from the selling template or you can probably do it from your preferences.
You could also put a note on your description asking overseas buyers to contact you for a quote before bidding or just state 'UK buyers only'. It won't stop everyone, obviously, but it might make them think twice.Worker in, and passionate advocate of, the credit union movement. I don't speak for the sector or for any individual CU. I've got UK buyers only but was contacted to ask if I'd post to Italy. I replied 'no problem' and they bought my 99p piece of tat for £12.49! Yay!0 -
