Why do car boots start so early...?

Often wondered what is the reason that car boots start at silly times like 7.00am... Sellers need to be there from 6.00 etc...

I did one last week and was up at 04.30hrs and it was vile lol...

    Yeah, I know - I can never be bothered to leave the house that early on a Sunday! My dad loves them though, they go every week to one or another.

  • I wish I lived near Essex so I could go to the Lazybones car boot lol, I love car boots but I have been to many for 2 big reasons;

    1. They're on ridiculously early for a Sunday

    2. I don't have a car!
    Thank you competition posters!
  • Many sellers like to do 2 or more CB's in a day.

    They can do the early one then move on to the next.
    I am a cow so cannot speak Bullshine but I do recognise its smell when I come upon it.
  • We went to a car boot this morning, we got there at 8:30 which wasn't too bad. The one's in Birmingham you have to get there for 7am or there's nothing left!
    Now I am employed, lets get rid of this student debt! :D:D
  • The one in Otley starts after lunch :)

    The earliest one I can think of round here opens at 9am :D Most of the others start at 12pm or 1pm.

    Well we decided to do another carboot today as the spare room was full from [STRIKE]crap[/STRIKE] stuff from the other week.

    The one we go to (Opp B&Q Warrington) opens at 6.30 for sellers, so you have to be there for 6.00 to get a good spot.

    It opens at 7.00 for buyers.

    It's now 6.55pm and I'm flagging lol.
  • Went to one this morning, and some people were packing up at 10.30am. Still got some lovely bits though! :j
