Got my delivery today, with the £50 mystery box thing .... And I am seriously impressed, got about 60 things in mine, loads of current stuff, a handbag, a few (nice) jewellery items, well worth the money

Put my order in today and came across an order form which was signed but no name or address I've put the order in and have compared to last campaign to see if there was a signature that matched but no luck. My plan is to put a note in with my next brochures to say I have an order with no name or address and to contact me if anyone think it's theirs to arrange delivery but just thought I'd check on here to see if anyone had any better suggestions? Thanks0

This does happen. Apart from comparing writing, in fact comparing numerals can be easier to match, putting a note to customers is probably the only other option - maybe mention the total £ of the order. They will contact you eventually when you fail to deliver."Sometimes letting things go is an act of far greater power than defending or hanging on.”0 -

I've done that when I can't match the writing, and also text customers who I had numbers for who hadn't placed an order. They'll contact you so don't worry!Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -
Had to happen eventually. A Betterware rep who also does Avon has put flyers out. I got one delivered to my house so I presume the rest of my territory has been flyered as well. I've had it for some time and feel like I've got the majority of customers, but I'm re-canvassing during C18 and giving postcards to all houses who said "no more brochures". Will there be much point if she's done the re-canvas for me with these flyers?
I've passed her details on to the ASM so we'll see what happens. Flyers are nowhere near as bad as canvassing with a book, but they're still canvassing...
Yeah we aren't allowed to canvass for customers like that, apart from on our own territory. SL can deliver leaflets wherever - but! - only to ask people if they want to become a rep themselves, not saying contact me if you want to order, theres a big difference. Probably a quick word from your asm will sort it - they won't want potentially every other territory rep in your town having the same problem, easier to nip it in the bud now.Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -
I,Geek that would irritate the life out of me! Do people actually respond to having a flyer asking to you know if they want to order? It sounds like a good way to stop books going awol, but not sure how effective it is?
Also, just wondering, what is the latest time people would deliver items? On Saturday I went to do my deliveries and only 6 of about 18 houses were in (I had said this would be my delivery day to get it to people ASAP as I got my delivery on the friday) and I had forgotten me "i called to deliver your order" slips doh! I wanted to deliver tonight but OH has now got 2 jobs this evening and so has gone off with the car, but it got me thinking, if he came back at 8pm would a delivery between 8 and 9pm be too late? or would you say this is a reasonable time?0 -
depends on your customers. I don't deliver that late unless requested by a customer who doesn't get in til late, because being a single mum - i have to get my little girlie into bed at a reasonable hour. But i have a customer who has requested deliveries after that due to visiting hours in the hospital her mum is in atm and another who doesn't get in from work til almost 7. I couldn't cope without my calling book!Avon Sales Leader in North Kent Since July 20110

I've delivered at about 9pm before as I need the car to do my deliveries and my OH was at work all of last week until 8:30pm, so I had no choice but to deliver that late really, no one seemed to mind. I did even try delivering on my way home from work at about 6pm, but most people told me to come back later!0 -
See now Smoosh for me I assume the best time to deliver is between 7 and 8 as most people will be home and settled, however I do worry after 8pm. I shall head out to the houses I didn't get on Saturday at about 6 - 7pm tomorrow. Fingers crossed! The best time for "me" to do deliveries would be during the day though but nobody is in lol.0

I tend to do my deliveries between 5.30-8pm - some customers request to have theirs after 7pm, occaisionally I've had them ask for orders after 8pm, but I don't like taking that late so usually arrange another day with them and they don't mind. If I'm around in an evening (ie not a work) - I'd rather be at home in my pjs than out taking avon orders lol.Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0
