HELP with Personal Recruitment Page, my upline who is totally wonderful but doesn't know how to set up PRP or help me to do it. SHe thinks I have to outside companies to buy one off but then how would that link to Avon and their leads. We are both muddling through on Personal Recruitment Page so haven't got one, I have my £25 bag and didn't know that it should be covered in the cost there.

Can anyone help me to understand it better.

RE: the "Register your business" instructions, it comes up with a window that is not needed, while I was with the customer I had to call my upline to work it out and felt a bit of an idiot. The first time I did Avon I was left to get on with it, this time upline is much better. WIth it being hit and miss I think the guide on how to register and flagging up the unnecessary username and password window would be really helpful.
  • I have finally got my code to do my tax returns online. Has anyone got an idiots guide to help me out? How does it work with credits etc? I'm really worried and want to make sure I get it right! Thanks :)

Could be wrong but think you are confusing linking your own personal website (if you have one) to your Avon website? Your PRP should automatically be set up - go to Avon Connects, Profile, Personal Page. All you should need to do is upload a photo and then that's the link you use to direct anyone to apply to join your team.

Hope that helps, but if not, just repost.

Still havn't got my bits missing from my order. I phoned Avon again as I ordered them on the 10th by phone and they said there was nothing on there to say it had been done! On the same date there is something saying order correction by phone and 'prepared,' so I assumed this was what it was. It was actually an exchage I'd put through online, as I had a faulty product.

So I have know idea what the person who I spoke to last week, (who said they would most probably be here Friday) was on about!

This means that my customer is now going to have to wait another 5-7working days! The 7th working day will be the same date as my next delivery. I told my customer on the 10th that it would be there in 5-7days (last Friday) :(. I have to go collect her book tomorrow and I have no idea what to say or if I should text her now.

Soo glad the customer left her book out with another order. I phoned Avon again today, as I still couldn't see anything about the two missing products on my tracking. It turns out it still hasn't been done! Their has clearly been some glitch some where. As my order C14 order will be here next week I've decided to back order the products myself and wait until then. The order will be 3 weeks late.:(

Sorry, I can't help with that - every time I ring HMRC to register, they tell me not to bother until my earnings are higher.

Another MSE Avoner :T did send me the following though if it helps:

    Total Customer Price Sales
    Less: Total AVON Price Sales
    = Profit

Add: Total Stock Held at Yr End
    Overall Total Profit plus Stock

    Less:
    Total Credits
    Total Expenses
    Total Mileage
    Total Overall Expenses

    Overall Profit/Loss for the year

  • Hi,

I'm new to this forum and new to Avon, just one week in to it! Finding it tough, the lady that signed me up was hopeless, I knew a bit about Avon anyway so had more or less made my mind up to do it before she came round. She didn't have a clue what she was doing, forgot to tell me a load of stuff and only gave me 14 brochures. She's not been in touch all week and has now gone on holiday! I've been quite pro-active myself, checking out forums and facebook but was pleased to find this forum which (when I eventually found the most up to date post - gosh, it's been going forever!) I hope this will be a supportive community to find out more info. I've only had £18.00 of orders so far (two people) and my first order has to be in on Saturday so not hopeful of making my first target. I've canvessed my area 3 times so far, any tips for how to grow my order book?

    Thanks, :-)

Welcome to our MSE 'family' and first off.... if you're still within your 14 days cooling off period, have a quick look around and find another more supportive upliner! (Bet whoever signed you up didn't mention you have 14 days to change your mind either!) Makes me sooo cross.

You should have been given a minimum of 20 books plus a few extras (but the extras are at your SLs own cost so that's up to them).

Also think it's unfair to sign you up so soon before your order deadline; she could've signed you into your next campaign to give you a better chance at hitting HOV and getting your free full size ANew Night Cream.:mad:

You'll get plenty of help on here so you've deffo got us to fall back on :T but seriously, if you are within your cooling off period, give it a lot of thought. Feel free to PM/email me if you like.

Haven't been to one yet but other MSE Avoners  have posted that HMRC hold local seminars, which are excellent. Why not check on the gov website and see when the next ones are being held local to you?

From what I gather it's really only four numbers you need to input on your tax return. My earlier posting gives you a clue how to calculate those figures.
