Hi all,
Hope you all had a good Easter break.
Just a quick query. I phoned up and got a credit to my account for the watch the customer returned. Its now showing up on my returns section of my invoice, but I have no returns form for it. Should I just put it in the box with my other returns? Add the product number myself to the bottom of the returns form or what? First time I'm returning something under the item guarantee not Avon's guarantee and am completely confusedCreeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Yes, just add it in writing to the bottom of the printed order form. With details like the product number, quantity, reason code.
I've been told to do this recently with a replacement moneymaker (I did the replacement before it had been charged for).I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. They've been removed because it's not appropriate to talk about those kinds of sales as if they're realistic for a new Rep to aim for.I signed up at the right time, right place, and was very lucky.

not too sure if its okay posting this here.
im not an Avon rep, i was just wondering if its worth giving it a go.
i live on a new estate, the houses around me have only been here a year and the rest just up from me have been here 2-3 years, all nice houses, nice area. and i don't know of anyone doing Avon around here, we've never received any catalogues or seen anyone delivering it.
thank you0 -

Hello, of course it's ok
Unfortunately you wont know if those streets would be available until you join (new ones might not even be on the system yet...), streets get allocated as a territory so noones getting 10million books through their doors or stepping on each others toes. But if you know your neighbours you could offer to them anyway as family and friends... I recently got my territory changed to one further away from me, I'm the grand daughter of two of the well known families in the village so already knew all the people in my territory and could serve them as friends
I say go for it if your willing to put in the work. I don't know enough of the technical stuff, being just a rep myself and one who was never taught properly by the person who signed them up but I've figured it all out (these guys here have been so so helpful!) and I really enjoy it!
Even if I do spend all my commission on buying nail varnishes..... they never tell you about that bad aspect before joining!! lol. (said as she paints her nails :P)
Someone else will probably give you a reply which makes a lot more sense and has a lot more useful information! lol.
xI hope you know your capable, & brave, & significant.
even when it feels like your not....0 -

Good Morning all. I have been reading this thread for the last couple of weeks when I get a few mins here and there. I am on Page 86 atm but thought I would say hello. I'm not new to MSE but I am new to Avon, joined up at the beginning of C9.
I have 6 days left to put in my order and have hit my HOV so I am happy.
I used to do Avon when I was younger, had just turned 18 and tbh I was far too young to understand what I was letting myself into, now I am ready to start it properlyI am hoping to turn it into a successful little (or big) business but one step at a time. I am under no illusions with money either, originally decided to start as a hobby but nice to dream of it going somewhere.
The advice I have read on this thread has been invaluable. I seem to have a good upliner, she is a new SL but has been doing avon for around 18 months as a rep. She is in regular contact with her upliner and her upliner has contacted me already to welcome me and say she is available if I have a question and can't get hold of my upliner for any reason. Both have been brilliant so far.
Here's hoping it continues.0 -
welcome babymoo and congrats on making hov and still 6 days to go thats really great start.
Sorry all Ive been very quiet on here, its been a mad ole time since Easter as I have had to go back to work so between that, looking after my little one and some how trying to work my avon in, ive had no time for much else. Feel awful i'm lacking enthusiasm with the avon I still want to carry it on but very difficult to figure out my master plan of how to fit in pick ups and drop offs of brochures. Deliveries should not be effected too much as I did most of these during the evening anyway. My issue is alot of my customers are flats so I need to try and get them to leave them outside the front door so i can run round one evening picking them all up in one go.
Think i will sit down and write out when i need to do things just hope all my customers help me as much as possible as alot are forgetful already and I will have no time to do any re pick ups as my time is extremely limitedill work it out im sure.
How has everyone else been? Any changes for anyone?0 -
Thanks ajs. I must admit it seems a bit quieter on this thread than it was back on page 86 haha. Hopefully it'll pick up again?0
