claireylouise it really sucks isn't it, I've decided on texting her once more today and if she doesnt get them here by Monday then telling her not to bother because I won't have time to get books out and back in. My first campaign I only got 5 days for, I have back orders for C15 but if I keep waiting for the C16 books I'm going to end up with the same again

lozza1985she is cute!! I hadn't realised she was that early, you were lucky to escape the hospital so quick! My lil sis was 6weeks early and they had wanted my mum to stay there till her due date my mum refused to be in hospital for her birthday or leave my sister there so they let them both go after 5 days.

You guessed right!

Although a compromise would be to call until Christmas and then stop for a while and re-canvas them later. This is how I run it at any time of year - give people several campaigns to show an interest and after that anyone who isn't reading the brochures is moved over to the re-canvas list. It would be a shame to stop with only a few campaigns left before Christmas because this can bring out orders from people who don't often buy. I use opt-out notes but not all reps do. I keep popping them in so people can always tell me to go away. If someone was to get annoyed with me after a few campaigns (has never happened) I'd say sorry, but I've provided them with an easy way to opt out right from the start (you can see the note through the clear bag).

Urgh I'm too nice.
My ASM didn't turn up again, surprise surprise! So I've text her "Hi, wondering if you can bring my books today so I can deliver them over the weekend please? x" and feel like I've been too demanding
I'm getting really p'd off now she said on the 30th that she would bring them that week, no sign, text wed saying she'd been ill for a week but would bring them yesterday, yesterday nothing just didn't turn up... My order has to be in a week on Monday which means I want to try and collect my books in a week today, which I can't do if I don't get them...
So annoying!!
I'm not going to make MOV this time if my current customers can't order I've told them they can still order from the last book and given them my POB but I know I wouldn't order this time if I was them

What is gutting and what I dont get is it is in THEIR best interest too to provide you with the tools to get the money in because what u make they earn from to (SL's do not sure if ASM do)
I really hope you get them by end of day today so you can make your MOV. if your not far off the target maybe order a couple small items to bump it over the amount. Obviously if your far from the target then that will be a real shame for you and not fair. Don't let them put you off belive in yourself. Once you can order the catalogues yourself it will become easier.

Update on my situation - Still no call from ASM (was told i would be called by today) grrrrrrr
SL did text me out the blue Wednesday to ask if all is sorted and said her phone had been broken so not been able to be in touch with me. Told her still not sorted so not sure if she is going to help further or was just asking lol.

Just text her again telling her I will be at home today after 2pm so will keep you updated! Just concious that next week is the order deadline and I have only had 2 orders so far

Shes just rang me and told me she will pop round about 3pm with more books so fingers crossed!

claireylouise fingers crossed for you and hopefully its not raining there if you're out canvassing later! It's proper ick here. I had just 5 days for my first campaign n managed to get to MOV so you never know


ajs2013 It is really unfair even if ASM's don't get anything from it you'd hope that they still took it seriously enough to just drop some books off, especially as I can still see from connects she has been signing people up last couple of days...ggr! Thinking if I don't hear from her today I might make a plea on connects see if anyone has a couple C16 spare . Think I should be able to get there bumping it up But so annoying at the moment looks like I'm spending half my commission bumping my order up and the other half on the joining fee! . But yes definitely going to be much easier once I'm ordering my own catalogues I already have C17 bagged up and ready to go lol.
Hopefully your SL does try and help!

Finally got some roads to canvass yesterday, I posted brouches yesterday and picking them up tomoz. I'm a bit worried I won't get any orders because I showed the brouches to friends and only got 1 order totalling £30. I was texting my leader yesterday to arrange to meet tomos so she can show me how to order and when she asked if I had a orders so far I told her only £30 at the moment and she didnt text back is that a bad sign?

The books came! She left them on my doorstep as I wasn't in!

Had a very productive afternoon off work (off from my full time job) prepping books and writing little notes! Hopefully it will all pay off next week when I go to collect them!
