  • Anyone see the Avon feature on BBC Breakfast tv this morning?? Was ok, good for reminding people we are there. Shame they didn't point out the fact you can actually try the make-up and change / refund it if there's a problem. I find that a major selling point. Most people have spent a fortune on make-up that never ends up getting used!
Still looking for the plot...... Anyone seen it???

I have £175 worth of returns waiting to go back. I put them through on Monday, and printed out the forms today but they're still not showing up as a credit to my account :( I'm happy to pay the outstanding balance as is, I was just looking forward to being able to have some extra money now to withdraw as wages to put towards Christmas :( I've tended to leave drawing any wages ATM as I've had that many people cancel orders on me, or been away so have been late paying me that I've needed the cushion in my bank account to pay for stuff! I think I'd due about £200 which will pay nicely for the majority of Xmas ;)

Off to put in my order, will leave submitting it until DD has come home so I can order anything she wants from the c14 book & the HT. ;) She's already sorted out her dad, his finacee, and when this order arrives her twin cousins for Xmas from avon. Rest of the family is a slow and stead process. ;)

ETA: Just tried to make a payment and it kept defaulting my payment to ending with 70p instead of the 71p  Oh well, I'm not in the mood to question :rotfl:

I watched it too! I noticed that the avon rep who turns over "£3 million a year" had different carrier bags, what looked like thinker books ect. I also was a little disappointed that the 90 returns wasn't advertised, Because i have had customers in the past who swear that they never knew avon done this & that it is now a major buying point for them.!

Make a note of your return amount and pay your balance of that less your returns. Or pay £1, then it will trigger the credits to show and then you'll know how much you owe.
Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A

Credits used to appear within a few days at most (certainly if you paid something off your a/c) but I gather they may not now appear until your next campaign....

Make sure you keep note of what you KNOW you owe and pay that amount - hopefully Avon's systems will catch up eventually.

Didn't notice the carrier bags but expanding on the 90 day no quibble guarantee it's useful to note that if you come across a new customer, who has experienced a problem with a product bought from their previous rep, Avon will help you resolve those issues (and hopefully help you gain a new - and very loyal - customer to boot).

    Well done Avon! :j

  • Hey all,

Its been very quiet around here these past few days - Hopefully its Avon keeping everyone busy!

On tuesday i managed to speak to the new ASM! :j We had a good chin wag & to my supprise she was nothing like my SL explained! I also found out some home truths about various people too! Then whilst chatting, The asm asked me why i have limited customers when i have been given over 700 house's. Why every camp, I'm under £100.

(I've been asked not to go into to much details but...)

It seems my SL has kept 3 off my street's since i started & had earned a nice commission from them, Infact c15 made £344 in sales!

I'm really starting to think my SL is a cheating s**mbag! She had no reason to keep them, Considering she has over 14 area's she reps with reps making her money too!

The asm is meeting with me next week, To discuss things further, But what makes things harder is that the SL lives in my street & keeps a watchful eye on me every week i am doing my rounds.

The asm has said that she is going to try & change me to a new SL for the time being to get any issues resolved but i'm still out of pocket!

Anyway............... That's my rant over with, I hope everyone is well! TC ALL. x

There have been some previous posts about the online invoice being incorrect, so it may just be that. HTH

As MM says, it'll hopefully be correct on your paper invoice but make sure you double-check.

Incidentally, this bag forms part of an on-line offer this week-end: £13.99 nett for the bag and one of the 30ml perfumes - possibly Incandessence but not sure on that. Log onto your website and check which offer will work best for you.
