Omg just checked my c18 invoice online and loads of stuff is to follow, which wouldn't be so bad, but there all things that were to follow in c17 when I Originally ordered them! Mainly gadget pens (7 of them) scarf holder & a necklace and earring sets, and a few odds and ends. Have managed to order some from eBay, which will cost me, but better than me feeling an idiot & having to tell my customers there stuff still hasn't arrived. Though the gadget pens seem to be impossible to find!! Grr!

I actually placed an additional order to see if the items marked 'should arrive with your next order' would come out sooner.... Worked for some items, looks like am now getting the boot toppers and tie rack but the scarf holder is still showing as oos. I do have two gadget pens in stock, which am going to return. No idea how much postage would be but let me know if that would help.

Yep, have replied. Have managed to sort out some from another lady from a sales leader site thankfully, was beginning to think they didn't exist!

    Hi all,

Thanks once again to all the posters of useful tips! Finding things a little tough with Avon atm - have a small customer base but I think they have all stocked up on their essentials for now as have had very few orders last campaign. Have done my best with lots of sticky notes of 'exclusive offers' in my brochures to try and get people to try out more of the range but only had luck with it once.

Still, have been planning ahead and stocking up on bargains as I'm hoping to do some carboots in spring - wish I'd been forward-thinking enough to have organised a few tables at local Christmas fairs but never mind, that's on the cards for next year.

Not to be cheeky, but is there any chance that someone could post a link/update link on the first post so that I could have a sneak peek at C3 brochure? Would really help as I am trying to plan ahead for my next few campaigns to see what 'special deals' I can offer my customers after Christmas.

    Thanks!
I enjoy money-saving and am slowly entering the world of online earnings - aiming to pay for Christmas 2015 from extra income earned in 2015.
    So far: Bubblews £16.19 . Swagbucks £25, Neobux £1.29, Clixsense -.
Freebies/wins 2015: 2 x Convent Garden soup boosters, mini L'Oreal foundation, LG smartphone, mini Clinique face wash.

  • hello everyone. Forum newbie. Avon newbie here. Ive signed up to start as a Avon Rep today, had my free books delivered and am ready to go. Ive had an email to give me my temp account number and that this will become permanent once Avon have completed there checks.

im a bit worried that, i put all the books out and then fail the checks. Has anyone been in this situation. ? I want to get the books out as there isn't long until this campaign closes. Also i don't want to let the customers now as its my sisters territory i am taking over which is great because i worked hard helping her establish a regular set of customers who know me.

Anyway, im a guy doing it, im hoping i can persuade guys to order from Avon, as i love the mens stuff.
Avon Rep since 30 November 2012.
    Sales to date: 2012 C1 £605... C2 £186... C3 £407.74

Hi don't worry about the checks - the only way to really fail is if you've been an avon rep before & left owing them money. A poor credit background won't mean you're refused (people with ccjs get accepted etc), it just means your initial credit limit might be a bit lower thats all but that's nothing to panic over it should be plenty for your first order.

Nice to hear from a male rep - my Dh gets roped into it, he doesn't mind really, he tends to get more gossip from our customers than I do lol. If they know you then that's a great start, means you haven't got the hard work of building up your round :)

Just to avoid any confusion I'd check that this territory is now assigned to you on the system. If it has that's great - you just hear of people taking over someone else's round as an informal arrangement, and then those streets get given to someone else.
I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. They've been removed because it's not appropriate to talk about those kinds of sales as if they're realistic for a new Rep to aim for. :( I signed up at the right time, right place, and was very lucky.
