I have never done Avon before, just some leaflet drops and phone book deliveries so I am unsure as to what to expect from it all.
If I've read and understood this thread correctly, tonight will be "T1" and an introduction to what Avon is all about?
Could anyone give me any insight as to what else may be involved?
Many Thanks
Hi! Welcome to the threadIt speaks volumes that you have read this, and thought things through as well as asking questions.
They should explain anything you want to know, and provide you with books for your first campaign. They will need to see proof of address and photo id - just because Avon need to know who you are, before they send you hundreds of pounds worth of stock! Nothing to worry about. You can then start straight away.
I would suggest writing down any questions you think of throughout the day. Check when your Sales Leader will be contactable to help you as you go along, and make a note of that.
A few things to bear in mind: Sometimes customers will have several books without placing an order, just to make sure you're going to keep coming back!
NEVER hand over their order without payment. Even for friends.
You can save yourself a fortune on toiletries for your household if you shop the bargins on shower gel, shampoo, deodorant, soap etc
ALWAYS have a book in the car, and one in your handbag!
HTH
Good Luck!Still looking for the plot...... Anyone seen it???0 -

Well done, CR; yes, quite right.... your initial sign-up meeting is referred to as a T1. Sometimes SLs/ASMs do T1 and T2 together (T2 is when they make sure you're happy with how to input your order online and apply for credits/replacements etc.)
Don't worry, they'll talk you through everything; as an Avon rep you are self-employed so essentially setting up your own business but with the help and support of the Avon brand name and an upline team.
By the time they leave you should have lots of notes/guides, free books, order forms, etc. but don't be afraid to ask as many questions as you like. They are there to train and support you - the only stupid question is the one you don't ask.
One thing I would suggest you ask them for before they leave is to make sure you're actually registered and can log into your website i.e. rather than just be told your a/c no. and left to your own devices. Sometimes new reps are left to do this on their own and it can be problematical (not always of course).
Hope you're being tagged to a good team. If you're a fan of this thread you may find you know more than them!
Good luck and hope you enjoy being an Avon rep.:TMake the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

Oh no i am supposed to do an order by tomorrow. I have been really busy with everything else that i have not done anything. Please can someone remind me of the min order value for the next few orders I have had a look through the HT magazine and ordered a few bits for me but not sure if its ok just to do this?

So, C2 is done. I'll just copy what I've put on Connects:
So how are things going for those of us still doing C2?
I've just put my order in and here's how it went:
I gave books to everyone apart from people who said they didn't want to see every book. I didn't ask first and gave books to C1 customers with their orders and no-one who spotted their book in the bag returned their book straight away. I referred to the C2 book as "keeping my shop open" and people were happy to have it to browse.
58 books went out. 48% were read, 12% weren't read and 31% weren't returned.
23% of books put out came back with an order. Lower than normal for me (normally in the 30s) but for a slow campaign I'm happy with that level of interest.
Order total from territory was £100, my mum ordered (haven't added that up yet - she stocks up), I bought a few things for myself (not a lot), 1 network order of £9.99 and I bought C4 and C5 brochures. My order total was around £230 by the end.
Average order was £8.41, and last year's C2 also had an average order of £8.00 - the averages matched up almost perfectly for C1 as well.
So definitely not a waste of time, but I think the dates have helped me. 19th Dec wasn't the worst day to be out collecting books and I'll deliver the orders on 3rd Jan (delivery to me is on 29th Dec).
Just noticed that nearly half the people who read a book went on to place an order - not bad at all. Thank you Avon brochures!I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. They've been removed because it's not appropriate to talk about those kinds of sales as if they're realistic for a new Rep to aim for.I signed up at the right time, right place, and was very lucky.

Yes it's fine but you won't get commission from HT items so don't worry about MOV.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
Got my c1 order last night - everything there which should have been (2 items OOS but I had seen that on my invoice and was prepared for that).
BUT : there were also several items which I hadnt ordered and werent on my invoice - 15 C5 books, 5 C2 books, a hair dye, 1 complete magical Xmas gift set, another 5 eternal magic purse sprays and an eternal magic body spray!
It just goes to show how some reps end up with so many items missing0 -
