I placed a reserve yesterday around 9AM and collected at 7PM, the price hadn't dropped at this point, but it had at DSG so they price matched.

I also reserved one from PC World in Burton (for my brother) and mysteriously just after the price drop kicked in I got a phone message from the store saying there was now no stock (good old PCW Staff, don't blame them I s'pose)

Anyway, the tablet itself seems ok but will definitely need android in the longer term, quite a lack of apps. Also, performs more sluggishly than you may expect given the hardware specs!?

But amazon sold out quickly - I wonder what their stock levels are like compared to dabs/play etc.

BT & Misco also have stock (or at least you can put one in your basket) ... not reduced.

I have been following this thread since the first post but never post-time to break the mould!Had a very tiring day yesterday from 5am trying to get one. I thought I had managed to get one at CPW but enteterd my email address wrong in the fury so just rang them. They couldnt answer the will i definitely get my order question but said they are working through all the orders this morning and people will be updated. Just rang argos also, he said they are all aware of price drop but to hang on purchashing one as they are awaiting instruction today. cheers.

Does anyone know the situation re: Amazon. I ordered a 16gb at £89 and a 32gb at £429.. both did say OOS at the time, but they've moved to Not Yet Dispatched now, what's the chances of the 32gb moving down to the £115 price?

Had a one reserved at Argos until closing last night. Went to see what they would say about it just before closing. If I wanted it I had to pay full price, no price matching and excluded from their 14 day return policy unless faulty.
