Hello all
It's good to be back..have been off the MSE forums for a while with a few life changes..my signature says it all:-( but on other hand have a great new job which is part time so feel I do at least know my kids again..
Yesterday was my third NSD in a week..was well chuffed. However today less so as had to go and get DD1's new school uniform. She starts at secondary school on 1st and has to be smart!
This weekend I:
- promised kids fish and chips but when shop was closed we had steak from
freezer ( very yummy) and HM chips from our own potatoes and French beans from the allotment..lush
- made food at my parents house for dinner..Mum has just had an op..but received Yorkshire tea ( I am now officially a convert!), new teatowel,
gooseberry and blackberry jam ( HM by my dad..goodness how he has changed over the years ;-)), half a pudding..so I think I did the best out of it all. And
kids had an ace time.
- pleased because no impulse spends today. Got essential groceries and
uniform..but no sundries and even took snacks and drinks to keep us going as we shopped
- used a voucher to hire 2 x DVds..thanks Mr c@@p-2 for price of 1. Kids very pleased.
- no eggs because chooks are moulting. But cleaned out run..maybe bribery will make them feel better:-)
- dyed hair..have been going to hardressers but in there so often, my hair grows really fast, now need a second mortgage so has to stop. When I did the
MSEvbudgetbrain it was embarrassing what I spend at the salon :-)
- made £4.85 on ourPV panels today. Almost a record. Very pleased.. And also did 3 loads of washing when panels were at their peak so should have got my leccy for free :-))
- checked online banking and made an OP to the mortgage. Now I should pay off other things first but it's the princlple of the thing
Have a good week all

I just end up taking food with me to places, only one place complained (a kids indoor play area) so I replied "Oh I didn't realise you sold dairy free snacks", of course they said "Errmmm, sorry we don't" So I smiled and walked in with my huge tub of biscuits! Not all for DD of course...! :rotfl:
Ah that's the trouble, almost everything "may" contain this, that & the other these days! At least it means you get out of pricey food:idea:Debt at July 2012: £12,862.57
