  • I will:
    • [STRIKE] check banking[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE] check for surveys
    • feed and water the chickens in exchange for some lovely fresh eggs[/STRIKE]
    • collect DS2 from station and combine it with a short trip into town - he didn't make it this weekend
    • have a LSD - just buy breadcrumbs and a marrow - changed the menu
    • bake a batch of Millie's cookies from stores - made chocolate cake instead
    • finish off a corset
    • smile lots, it freaks people out :rotfl:
    catch up tomorrow, stitchy x

In spite of feeling grotty I still managed to do lots of bits. A few things changed because of not going out and decided to make a "celebrate I'm still here" cake instead of cookies.

    Today:
    • breakfast, lunch and dinner from stores
    • clean out chickens
    • stocked up on chicken food, grain, red mite spray, worming solution and straw and DH paid for the lot! :D
    • go to allotment to harvest potatoes, carrots and raspberries
    • fill up the car as the local garage has a "cheaper fuel weekend"
    • stay at DS2's house tonight instead of paying for B&B
I'm going up to sewing school again tomorrow (Victorian chemise this time) so I won't be doing a post here. Have a great day everyone and I'll catch up on Tuesday.

Well, there i was yesterday, where i do not know, posting away all the things i was going to do. Till I found out i was not in the right place. Thanks determined ms for pointing me in the right direction. I hope you don't mind me joining you. i found it so helpful posting things that needed doing, that I will post yesterdays that i put in the wrong place, if you don't mind, and then continue with todays.

    THIS WAS MY POST
Hi, this is a fantastic idea. I have so much stuff that needs doing and I just don't. The blind in my room fell down ages ago, and i need to put it up - not too good with stuff like, plus tons of unopened post (i know). Anyhow, I am going to start small, as the day is nearly nigh.

Sort Paperwork (tons of the stuff)
[STRIKE]Laundry washed & dry stuff folded and away
    Organise Fridge
    Meal plan for next week
Put blind up & DD Curtain Rail
    Sort out clothes Drawers
    [STRIKE]Sort out Wardrobe[/STRIKE]
Clear Stuff to rooms on bottom of stairs
    rubbish in sitting room[/STRIKE]

Feeling energised, off to do some now.
  • Hi All

Today I need to really try to get my head around my paperwork.

    Sort paperwork and Post
    Clear Cupboard in Lounge
Finish Sorting Books and Put on Freecycle
List Stuff on Freecycle from Spare Room

I'm a veggie not vegan - although I did try that out for a few months years ago and found it sooo hard to eat anything other than food I'd made myself - too restricting for me. I last ate meat when I was 15 and I'm 40 this year - at least I'll have young bowels!

I'm not entirely sure how vegans manage it - they must never eat out! I don't really see the need to be vegan providing the eggs/cheese etc all comes from providers who treat the animals well, no offence if there are any vegans out there by the way!

Wow that is a long time, I managed 2-3 years...:o

    Morning all!
Thanks DNMS for starting us off.
    Mum be careful!
Have fun at work La E!

Right, I have a load to do today and am really motivated to do it...!
    This is me:-
    - [STRIKE]Check banking[/STRIKE]
    - [STRIKE]Surveys[/STRIKE]
    - [STRIKE]Had breakfast from stores with DD[/STRIKE]
    - [STRIKE]Nip to Mr T's with small list[/STRIKE] also popped into Matalan to see if I could get some jeans for DD, walked out with nothing as there was nothing I really liked. Then found the last pair of aged 3-4 in Mr T's reduced from £10 to £3! :D
    - [STRIKE]Hang HC out on line[/STRIKE]
    - [STRIKE]Do 2x more HC and hang them out[/STRIKE]
    - Sort wood shed!!! Need to remove palletts and start chopping them up for kindling and store properly ready for winter
    - Mow lawn (again!) if it stays dry. Reduce height of lawn mower
    - [STRIKE]Put drying up away[/STRIKE] and clean kitchen
    - [STRIKE]Hoover WHOLE house[/STRIKE]
    - Sort under my bed where the rabbit keeps hiding and chewing stuff, try to stop him getting under there
    - As above with DD's bed
    - Block up hole in front door...not done this yet :rotfl:
    - [STRIKE]Declutter kitchen [/STRIKE]and living room, easy how these things start to fill.
    - [STRIKE]Go through budget last time for this month[/STRIKE]
    - [STRIKE]See if mobile bill is in[/STRIKE]
    - Wii Fit later MUST do this!
    - [STRIKE]All food and snacks from stores[/STRIKE], must resist temptation to bake a cake. Can't get it gone quick enough on a w/e and I end up eating it all!

More of a to-do list than an MSE list but it's all about keeping me out of the shops (aside from Mr T's..!)
    Jx

I haven't managed to complete my yesterdays list as the weather has been shocking. It's stopped raining now so I might get out to the wood shed and have a look, can't mow the lawn though as it's still wet. That really is a poor excuse as I could be doing a couple of the *inside* jobs on my list, like sorting out the rabbit carnage. I also need to add ironing to the list...boo!!!

Perni my DD is allergic to cows milk and that's hard enough when we go out as pretty much everything "may contain milk". I just end up taking food with me to places, only one place complained (a kids indoor play area) so I replied "Oh I didn't realise you sold dairy free snacks", of course they said "Errmmm, sorry we don't" So I smiled and walked in with my huge tub of biscuits! Not all for DD of course...! :rotfl:

Josie, you mean to say you have a badly behaved rabbit as well as THAT vole :rotfl::rotfl:

He's generally pretty good aside from when he's attacking DD (happened again today, little s**tbag!)
Nothing to report as yet...give me a minute...!

    Morning all!

Thanks DNMS for starting the thread, and sorry about the flights - but keep your eye out for flash sales, TripAdvisor has a option where you can be alerted everytime the price changes on a particular route, might be worth a look?
Stitchy - how terrifying for you, I hope you feel better soon x
La Escocesa - have a good day at work!
NTBY - a whole goat? Eek!
Josie - wow, what a list! That'll definitely keep you out of the shops!
Wannabe01 - ooh, thanks for letting me know about free listing weekend!
Ixia - good luck with the stopping smoking - you can do it!
WelshWoofer - that's my downfall too, I keep clothes for far too long with tags on which I either don't like or don't fit properly!
Lemon Tree - enjoy your day!

    Today I will:
    • [STRIKE]Check banking[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Check credit card[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Check Paypal[/STRIKE] Fees finally taken - yippee!
    • [STRIKE]Check TCB[/STRIKE] Still not ready for payout! Grr!
    • [STRIKE]Try Next stuff on and arrange return if necessary[/STRIKE] Keeping!
    • [STRIKE]Take boy's family to the airport - will drive economically, and try really hard not to cry, eek![/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Give myself a manicure to cheer myself up after the above[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Stop by Boots to buy base coat for my manicure using voucher/points if I have enough - and NOTHING else![/STRIKE] Didn't quite manage the anything else... Bought a set of rollers and a tail comb for £5.67, using my £5 voucher and 67p cash, got a £5 No 7 voucher, so turned around and bought a £7 base coat for £2 - so £12.67's worth of stuff for £2.67 cash - woop!
    • Rework budget after loaning my mother some of my savings for the next few months
    • [STRIKE]Clean out the car if weather brightens up?[/STRIKE]
    • OU
    • Finish my friend's leaving present Just need to wrap!

Have a great day everyone, whatever you're up to!

    Kx

Hi everyone, hope you're having a good Sunday!

In addition to the above, I've sorted through my clothes boxes and pulled out a load of stuff, will chuck it all on Ebay - don't expect to get anything more than 99p for any of it so will use Turbolister and list later in the week. I've got a couple of items I want to put on with a higher starting price so will do those later this afternoon.

I've also started sorting out Christmas stuff, ordered a few DVDs from Amazon last week and been through my stash to allocate a few more.

And to add to the list above:
    Sort out filing
    Recycle envelopes from Amazon
Take photos of things to list on Ebay
Off to cinema this evening with the boy, will use discount card and buy sweets in shop over the road first to avoid popcorn!

    Have a great afternoon everyone!
    Kx

My goodness I can't compete with that list!
Today I walked the dog twice, shopped, did some hand washing, bottled the last of the plums in vodka, made some plum jam and moved the furniture around (I'm female, it's in the genes ;)). Just now I am having a glass of red wine and in a moment I will make a sponge cake with the very, very last of the plums as a base.
