Hmm I don't know I disagree, I like goat but I don't like lamb? I've just thrown a load of goat out of my freezer cos I didn't have room for it!!

    Morning all,

Didn't really get a whole lot done yesterday, just spent hours & hours getting frustrated on Photoshop trying to design a monogram! Must do better today, I'm already off to a bad start having not done much & it's nearly midday, so thought I'd better get my butt on here for some motivation.

DNMS - Sorry you can't go for Xmas now, at least you are doing the right thing & waiting & not just slapping the rest on credit, well done! :T & when you do go, it'll be so much sweeter not worrying about paying it all back, you can just enjoy the trip properly.
Stitchy - Omg, that is very scary! I hope you're feeling ok now.
La escocesa - Hope work passes quickly for you this weekend & you have a fab night in
NTBY - Thank you that really means a lot! Oh wow, not sure if I could stomach seeing a whole goat like that! I'm not good with eating meat when I think about where it came from :o I was actually a veggie for a couple of years until I had too big a craving for pepperoni pizza lol! Hope you have fun though.
Josie - Can I have some of your motivation please?
Welshwoofer - Get them to make you a nice veggie kebab or slap a veggie burger on there! Are you vegetarian or vegan?
Pixie - Glad you had a great time! Enjoy tonight.

    Today's plan:-
    • [STRIKE]Use freebie deodorant that I am being paid to trial[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Use freebie moisturiser[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Food from stores[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Going over to my best friend's for dinner, hoping she will do what she always does & manages to make me smile despite feeling glum[/STRIKE]
    • Check online banking
    • [STRIKE]Check for surveys[/STRIKE]
    • Enter comps
    • Get some bits ready for listing on ebay since it is a FREE LISTING WEEKEND
    • [STRIKE]Charge phone via pc[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Work on wedding related tasks[/STRIKE]
    • Check out flylady thread & do something!
    • [STRIKE]OH is doing overtime today[/STRIKE]
Have a great, moneysaving day everyone x

    Happy Saturday All!!

I haven't have a very DFW week but this was the week we spent a bit on activities for the kids. 3 Days out in 6 days. £120 paid on entrance fees BUT we havent really spent anything on these hols so far. Next week will be a normal week of me working and then the last week of the hols we have a bit of time off so may camp somewhere if the weather is nice. So the spending a lot part is now behind us. I used my music magpie money for the day out yesterday.

    Right today

Stay in as tonnes of housework to do - was going to see my friend but would be £6 on bus fares and the house needs sorting
Lunch from stores - ham sandwiches all round - ham to use up!

Dinner from stores - beef casserole
My brother is round for tiger woods on the xbox tonight - so a free evening entertainment

    Updates NSD's and grocery spend
Write up a list of all housework and do it all!!!
Craft activity with the kids - they want to make soap - they have a kit!
    NSD/LSD
    Reconcile spends

Get money off DD1 for item she bought yesterday
Cancel my Graze supscription - £15 a month better in my pocket really!

    Thats it for my day

Free listing on ebay so will also relist some items! x

Stitchy - how scary! Take care of your self! So glad you realised in time.
La E - enjoy cuddles with OH - tonight my bro is coming to play Tiger Woods against OH and I - we are having a tournament :-) Not very romantic
DNMS - as La E said -just keep checking the flights - i'm sorry they are too expensive at the moment!
NTBY - Enjoy the goat - i have never tried it!!
Perni - i hope your friend managed to make you smile
Pixie - glad to 'see' you back - i havent been on much but then i knew you were away from your diary!
Welsh - i bet that was a fantastic feeling to see that loan go! I am desperate to get my loan gone soon - i was hoping at the end of next year. That is my goal. The £200 a month better off. Need to clear some cards first and then start over paying! I have 2.5 years left so even if i start overpaying this time next year i will only have 1.5 years left on there so shouldn't take too long! x

Its a fab feeling! I'm £350 a month better off - I now have breathing room moneywise even though there's only me paying the bills now - I've rejigged all of the utilities, Sky etc and the food bill has gone down dramtically and finally I feel "comfortable"! Good luck with paying yours off soon.

I'm a veggie not vegan - although I did try that out for a few months years ago and found it sooo hard to eat anything other than food I'd made myself - too restricting for me. I last ate meat when I was 15 and I'm 40 this year - at least I'll have young bowels!

    • Put change in coke bottle
    • List at least 5 things on ebay
    • Watching things on sky box rather than going out
    • Read newspapers online
    • Checked online banking – no change
    • Do online comps
    • Done a couple of surveys
    • Drink plenty of water
    • Take meds to sort out hormones
    • Put washing on at 30 degrees
    • Fill in online and paper food diary
