To prove the discount works (from my order):
    Products you have ordered:

Toshiba 32 ins LCD TV 32WL66P Cat No. 51T944L2
    QTY: 1
    Price: 495.00 Status: In Stock
    ______________________________
    Handling and Delivery: 20.00
    Total: 515.00

In the meantime, thanks for shopping with us - see you again soon!

Your friendly electrical experts at duck.co.uk

Search for the discount code and you'll find it.

It's not obvious it works because you put it in then it goes straight to delivery/payment screen. It's only on the "confirmation" page that it shows the reduced price.

And you have one back. :)

Yes, I bought the analogue version for 2 reasons:

    1. £515 was already £15 over my spending limit. I couldn't justify the extra for something I use less than once a month on my current TV.
    2. I have a dual-receiver PVR and I find the ability to pause/rewind/ff (over adverts) compelling. When I'm recording 2 things at once I have a number of choices: watch a previously recorded show on the PVR; watch something on my media streaming xbox; watch a DVD; go up to my bedroom and watch something on my second PVR.

    More thoughts about built-in Freeview:

In my area they are turning off analogue in 2012 (supposedly). By this time what's the chances that HD freeview will be available? Very, very high. So why would you want to watch SD freeview on your HD TV?

Anyway, in 5 years time I might want to buy a new TV with built-in freeview HD.....probably be 1/2 the price of this TV now.

Hmm, what if I do decide I want an extra freeview service on my Tosh? £20 box plugged into one of the spare ports? Or even another PVR for the £75 I saved?

My *personal* circumstances mean that built-in freeview simply doesn't make sense for me unless I get it for the same price as analogue only.

Really I had 3 choices on this TV:

    1. Sainsbury's TWF 32" LCD w/freeview for £399 (looked awful, build quality looked like a £5 mp3 player)
    2. I saw a Tesco's Bauer 37" LCD no freeview for £499 (can find *no* information on this set or even the make)
    3. This Toshiba £515 (great reviews on picture quality - and that is what really matters, surely)

In the end I stretched my budget to the Toshiba.

I also ordered the Toshiba 32 ins LCD TV 32WL66P for £515 from duck.

Agree with Whirly in the above post.

A great price and a lot of tv for the money.
