One other thing, you will find some whey liquid on home made yoghurt sometimes. I used to pour it off but later discovered it's very high in protein (body builders use whey powder for that reason). Now I either mix it in or use in in bread making, as it's excellent for this.[/QUOTE]
It also makes great hair conditioner.

Has anyone used this method and it's worked?
Need to research making yog other ways now! (without a machine)]
i used greek yog with live culture - would that matter?A little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men

I've no idea why the greek yoghurt with live culture wouldn't work - It is a bit hit and miss sometimes. I'd tend to go for just plain 'natural yoghurt' rather than greek, though if it worked it would be lovely. I've only tried using an Easiyo flask thingy, which is very simple to use.somewhere between Heaven and Woolworth's0

whats the point in using the crockpot in this recipe - surely if its going in the oven you can just do it in a bowl/ pan/ casserole dish??People seem not to see that their opinion of the world is also a confession of character.
