Best ready made oven chips

I can't stand oven chips and have tried aunt bessies and mccain homefries as well as ob. You can't beat home made deep fried chips but of course can't have them very often (about once a fortnight for us). Chip shop chips are ok but they palm you off with lots of shards and charge a fortune. Best chips I ever had was on a trip up north to Blackpool - had with gravy - yum yum.0

I always thought that Aldi Goldenfries were basically their version of McCain Homefries:
